Your lack of knowledge on the issues, and what you’re telling the players base is rather confusing. As you go on, your stance changes. I suggest if you don’t know, say it. It’s fine. Making assumptions about a flawed system when council gets banned too is an issue.

Yes. if the logs back that you are not contributing. That is exactly how it currently works. If your team feels you are not contributing to the team play they can report you. Again, if logs over multiple games back that you are not doing DPS/Healing the GMs currently suspend people for it.
You don’t have to agree with the policy, I am just sharing how it works.

Being an MVP or Council member doesn’t mean they are exempt from the rules. In fact, if a Blizzard employee were playing on their own personal account and broke the rules, they would be actioned as well. The rules apply to everyone equally. There really is no favoritism or preferential treatment.

Does that mean we can get banned for not running the flag in WSG?
Might make a great subject to bring up on the CC forums to try to get this changed.
The point is if they valued that position, I doubt they’d do it.
Regardless, none of the standing facts change
So hypothetically if I joined a Warsong Gulch and my team was like “don’t cap the flag” … but I capped the flag because the game type is CAPTURE THE FLAG, I would get banned if this happened enough times because I was going against what my team wanted?

I have not made a single assumption. I am telling you exactly what Blizzard has stated. Further, Council folks are not immune to penalties. The GMs don’t care one bit who we are. Either someone is reported and the logs back it or not.
The only thing Council does is give someone orange text and the ability to post in the Council forum.

Yes, if it was reported by the team, it was over multiple games, and the logs show no DPS/Healing to back the reports.
Yeah, well that is reportable if you don’t help the team.

100% wrong to ban off this and shows they have no idea how their own battlegrounds actually work.
What if you only hit pve mobs and never a player?? ie I ran to tank Drek.
So bring it up. In the General forums, not here where no one will see it.

Why we’re asking for support
If they read general, they’d know their own server issues…
I’m not talking about no DPS/Healing, I am talking about playing the objective when my team doesn’t want to so I get reported for it.
