That’s a spell already in flight.

If that were the case then warrior spell reflect would reflect every tick of missiles, it does not

If turtle finishes it’s animation halfway through your cast, only the ones that channeled out before the animation finished will land. Works the same way with rapidfire. Does not work with drain life or ray of frost because those are not projectiles and it’s a debuff already on you doing damage.

It doesn’t need to finish the animation the key just needs to be pressed before the projectile is in the air

Hey yeah bro proving blade flurry bug still exists totally owned me there. Bugs existing making things that shouldn’t go through your defensive cooldowns go through your defensive cooldowns is total and definitive proof that turtle works the way it’s supposed to.

The weak link in your latest argument is that you’re laying claim to a lack of certainty on the part of
everybody
as to how turtle works. But that was never in any kind of doubt. You have this belief about an arming time perfectly synced to its animation, that defies any understanding of blizzard in particular or programming in general. And everybody else recognizes that that’s insane

imho Masters call should be a 25s cd like it used to be not 45s, and yes 2 charges of disengage for SV

It’s not that clear. I reallllly don’t want to argue about it, but can we at least agree something is funky with it? It’s really frustrating for people to just say
 “well, use it earlier.” Well, usually I’m not using it because I’m in CC and the second I get OUT of CC, I pop turtle. To have to burn your only major cooldown and have it do nothing is frustrating. To have it be incredibly unreliable is hard to play around.

This is two spells somehow making it through after 1 second of turtle being up. One was a cast and one was instant. I can see the cast coming, I could not see the instant barrage. Regardless, it doesn’t feel like the 30% damage reduction is being taken into account.

This was an instant cast and the mage wasn’t far from me (under 10 yards). It shouldn’t have had much travel time.

Regardless of how the ability is ‘supposed’ to work, I think it’s poorly designed. Using a major CD should be more reliable. If they need to completely rework the ability, fine
 it’s an awful defensive. Give us something that is worth blowing trinket for. Feign shouldn’t be our most reliable damage reduction.

I was under the impression it shouldn’t be.

Like, this seems pretty standard. Longest delay is probably something like gpyro but bfa days are behind us.

None of these seem odd, actually, as frustrating as they may be.
