Most likely scenario in the clip is Blade Flurry off the pet.
Thatās how every buff in the game works
I know. Which is why itās mystifying that people with high ratings and XP refuse to acknowledge it specifically with turtle.
Where do you see the fox disputing what I said in any way
The fox is saying that itās a swing already in flight when turtle was cast and not post-turtle cast. No rogue swing timer used here is 1.7+ seconds long.
No, no, no. Iām saying thatās most scenarios but some abilities always do go Turtle, like charge/warbringer, blade flurry, sweeping strikes(?), etc.
You could have 1.5 seconds left on turtle and my warbringer in SL wouldāve still shaved off 10% of your health.
Two diff types of scenarios and interactions and I imagine any Hunter player should be aware of.
So now youāve moved goalposts.
Excuse me, I need to find a pencil to snap.
I think you misunderstood, or maybe the fox misspoke
The conjecture here is āblade flurry is being allowed to hit through turtleā
Iād call that a bug myself, but Iām pretty sure it was in place in SL.
Blade flurry doesnāt interact with turtle any differently than any other ability any more. It would hit through turtle 100% of the time in SL and was fixed.
Aspect of the Turtle deflects abilities cast at you, which means some cleaves/aoes can still hit you. Some stuff even always goes through, like charge/warbringer as the prime example because I had games in SL where Iād be like ālmao watch thisā and double charge a hunter at 15% health in turtle and kill them.
Looks like df broke it again then doesnāt it
No, it looks like the thing that has happened with turtle since it was changed from deter still happens.
Anyways, I recommend using the ability at a higher health so as to avoid these unfortunate mishaps. Unlike bubble and divine shield it is not a reliable āhard stopā.
Itās not like Iāve prefaced every single one of these discussions with that. It doesnāt change that the ability works this way.
It is unsurprisingly common for Hunters to misunderstand how their defensives function.
Really? With the ability that less than one expansion ago was known to be broken with turtle, in an expansion known to have re broken several fixed problems at launch, thatās the conclusion you want to draw
Yes, because I tested it. Yāall are the ones reaching for obscure explanations to video evidence.
I repeat: how did you test it
Duel outlaw rogue. Have rogue cast blade flurry. Cast turtle with rogue hitting pet in melee range of me. Observe whether blade flurry continues to do damage to me once turtle is active.
