Stand close to healer, rooted, healer gets incapped and rop’d for the double sweep

“Wow I never saw this coming”

Ya that would deff be a bug then. Kind of inline with the blade flurry one from back then too.

No but you can see he has leg sweep off cd and position yourself in a spot that’s the most favorable for your team of you get stunned in. Acting like there is just nothing you can do us false.

Ya well it’s a team game…

Which you can track and see comming (leg sweep).

Also this.

Just look at the amount of time between Jaime casting turtle and him dying. None of the spell or swing-in-flight explanations make sense here. There were no dots or bleeds. It was all rogue abilities and he lived too long for anything that whazz would have been doing around the time of his global use on turtle to have been in the same global window that whazz was working with. Something went through it, there is no other logical explanation.

Is this being flurried onto or off of

Timeline wise, could not have been cast before the turtle global.

I think I’ve had sweep go through, so I imagine Flurry can as well regardless of timing.

There’s also Warbringer/Charge which always hits through, which is super funny to kill a Hunter who has been in turtle for like 4 seconds.

Because as I said it’s not an immunity, just a deflection and sometimes there are things that aren’t really “direct”.

Deflection should deflect new swings, spells, or attacks as soon as the aura is applied. If the aura is applied as soon as you press the button, there is no situation where you should be able to see the turtle shell at all and a NEW swing go through. That thing hitting his pet is a solid 1.5 seconds post-turtle cast. The answer is that the aura is NOT applied as soon as you hit the button, and whatever hit him/his pet was cast mid-animation before the aura actually applied.

It is, but to some it isn’t clear that a deflection =/= immunity so here we are. Pretty sure most of my SL kills on Hunters were in turtle because they think it’s gonna stop them from dying at 10%

Sike, sweep/dreadnaught/warbringer or queued execute

Deflection is not the same as immunity, but it’s also not supposed to be a 99% chance to stop new things from hitting you. That aspect of immunity vs deflection is irrelevant. Your explanation doesn’t fit what happened in the clip.

What hits isn’t a matter of chance.

Right, it’s a matter of there being a delay or swing timer between you pressing the button and the aura applying and deflecting new things. It’s supposed to deflect 100% of new things.

I, too, have been a proponent of 2 charges of disengage for SV.

It deflects most things directed at you after it’s used.

What happens in 99% of cases is that Hunters being bursted with their healers in CC go from 78% to 5% over the course of a few seconds, turtle, die to stuff that was cast prior to their turtle then devolve into conspiracy theories.

and 1% of the time, somebody casts an ability while the animation is going off and the ability goes through because that ability’s swing timer is faster than turtle’s animation/activation time.

No. :newspaper_roll:

You have no better explanation

I’ve tried to explain it dozens of times. At this point I think it’s just refusal to accept that there was a time they turtled late and the ability isn’t inexplicably bugged or behaving oddly.

What was the exact methodology of this duel test

And what you’ve typed is inadequate to explain situations such as the clip I’ve presented you. You’re wrong.
