See this is a terrible argument. I understand it sucks losing an ability you like, but Metamorphosis as Locks and Now Demon Hunters have it was originally a Demon Hunter ability from Warcraft 3. It makes more sense for Demon Hunters to have it then Locks seeing as it’s literally their ability in the 1st place.

And Rexar fights with melee weapons, therefore melee SV makes perfect sense for a hunter spec.

Rexxar was a BM hunter originally, even in WC3 he was BM. If anything makes sense as far as melee hunter goes, based on the “Rexxar argument” it’s not survival, it’s BM.

Fine. Nobody is saying to remove melee SV. We just want ranged SV back as a forth spec. Why do you oppose that? Just because you hate Hunters?

:frowning: Pretty sure forum just there to vent off steam for players.

They dont need ideas or such, they already have a huge amount within the buisness. And if they want feedback on something, they will ask it via ingame on beta or via specific thread on forum. Certainly not class forums or gen chat.

WoW’s been dying for 15 years according to certain “customers” and since you play hunter below an lfr level, your feedback isn’t worth the time you take to write it.

Yet its one of the only MMORPG out there that still lives with sub fee as well. All those new mmorpg opens… and a year or two after it dies… I think ESO was the one exception where they kept working and managed to get back on its feets.

Well, I dunno. I DO leave feedback, and I’ve certainly jumped into controversies (the 5-plus megathreads re: the Flying Fiasco in WoD and the two “Let’s Talk” threads — the second one a megathread as well — re: Legion Hunter design).

I believe that Blizzard does read the feedback on the forums. It’s just that ever since the forums blew up (seriously, they went NUCLEAR) in WoD over the Flying Fiasco, Blizzard has been extremely shy in interacting with the forums.

So really, I see the forums as both a place for socialization and a place for feedback.

There is more than just that here.

  1. If you actually bothered to look at my profile you’d see not only have I cleared all of Ny’alotha on LFR I’ve also done 6/12 of normal. Clearly above LFR just by that metric.

  2. This character has only existed since mop and the last time I was super, super serious about raiding was in BC. But hey, keep on assuming only the super serious mythic raiders are the only ones with valuable feedback. That doesn’t make you seem like an elitest in the slightest.

Nobody is asking for SV to be taken away… just to go back to being a highly mobile, DoT & proc based, ranged weapon focused specialization.

What id change is removing focus regen from Kill Command…or removing KC entirely and replacing it with some new attack. Put Butchery into the spell book instead of a talent. Get rid of WildFire Bomb and replace it with something that fits a hunter a little better, lol.
Give SV something much like Lone Wolf, especially if our pets are going to have a frikkin 6 second casting time soon.

personally I dont like SV being so much like BM with Kill command. It feels really borrowed. BM should be the BEAST MASTER.
MM should be about guns and missle fire.
SV should be more focused on ME abilities, including melee attacks and cool contraptions, maybe.
