Man something really needs to be done, i enjoy the spec so much, its the only reason i play hunter, i love the idea of being in the fray with your pet and the pet not being just another meat shield,not a fan of MM or BM (so i cant really give opinion on those) but i feel like something really needs to happen for Survival, i quit hunter in BC when i seen all the melee hunter abilities were going away (bring back Dual Wield!) and i know it wasnt good it was just a fun fantasy.

So I’m not in the beta. I honestly don’t know why I am posting this here since it will probably never be looked at but it’s a thought. Maybe someone in the beta will see it and pass the idea along.

So as it stands right now Survival is in a weird mechanically unappealing spot. Why? Well there’s not a lot of synergy between the abilities for one. And for two, your main damaging dps ability for burst windows is your filler… You set up bombs, you shoot poison, and you raptor strike… Or well in the basically MANDATORY talent choice Mongoose Bite.

BLIZZARD SURVIVAL HUNTERS HAVE BEEN BEGGING FOR THIS ALL OF BFA. MONGOOSE BITE IS THE 1# TALENT CHOICE IN THAT ROW. HAS BEEN FOR 2 YEARS AND WAS BASE LINE PRIOR TO BFA AND THATS HOW IT SHOULD OF STAYED. WE THE SURVIVAL HUNTER COMMUNITY ARE SMALL BUT DEMAND MONGOOSE BITE BECOME BASELINE. THATS ALL WE WANT. PEROID. Please blizzard listen to your survival hunter community and make this change.

I have been testing survival hunter in ptr and I would like to share my comments and observations. Sorry if my english is quite bad as it is not my main language.
I am going to share my observations ordered from highest to lowest priority. This is my point of view and

Remember warrior stance dancing from vanilla? Alter the spec to focus on the “spear” idea that you can switch how you hold a spear from thrown to melee with magical spear recovery. No more silly than magical endless quivers. Melee could be fast D2 Amazon-like jabs while our range would not be our “focus” but could rely upon slow cast skill shots aiming the spear to set up melee by debuffs and bleeds. That way we could still use the unpruned abilities. Just a thought seems like a shame to have “tip of the spear” and not be able to throw one?

i don’t understand that we get latent poison as a legendary in SL i mean we been playing with this azerite trait for 2years and now it will be my legendary doesn’t feel cool or fun , it’s a azerite trait needed for hunter . just like furious gaze for DH but they have it baseline .

plz make it baseline and add fun and interesting legendary for survival.

any class should not have azerite trait as legendary as it will never feel like a legendary when you been playing with it for the last 2 years.
