Support for Covenant Restrictions

That’s a personal problem. If you can’t control yourself and stick to the choice you claim should be most important, that’s on you.

To be honest, I hate when I see a Hunter with …barrage? talented as there’s a high chance they’ll pull everything in sight with it.

But besides that I think people are over reacting about this, most people won’t care what covenant you chose and won’t play with the top 1% anyway…and the players who think they’re the top 1% but aren’t and try to control what others choose probably aren’t the people you should play with anyhow.

Because your argument doesn’t make sense.

If you don’t want to change and the system is made to be flexible - you wouldn’t have to change.

But for those who do want to change things up frequently - they wouldn’t be able to.

You could still do and play how you like, but they wouldn’t.

I think wow should be inclusive, so this is why personnaly that I will stand agaisn’t that thinking. But atleast you’re being honest :stuck_out_tongue:

If what you said was true blizzard would have no systems in place to direct players on how to play, it would just be wide open. We don’t even have master loot anymore because of the loot reservations.

I commend blizzard on what they’re trying to achieve with this.

But we’ve eroded already from this whole choice matters thing. Like originally I wanted covenants to be permanent choices. Then I thought about it.

Right now if I wanted to. I can boost a character to 120. Buy gold to gear them up. Then go raid. Then switch their race if I need to for a boss.

Like we can already switch so much. Um, cats out of the bag so to speak.

Would it be cool to make them permeant and be a real choice? Yeah. But real choice died in wow a while ago.

There is no one saying you would have to be forced to change if you want the rp aspect then more power to you but don’t force the way you want to play on us the prefer more of the game play aspect.

People like you come off like a child having a fit because the other kids won’t play with them because they think the other kids should play like they play.

For me I would prefer they remove race changes and faction changes, and go back to only be able to pick one faction. Over any covenants systems locking you, covenants are small reps and will be gone after Shadowlands.

It makes perfect sense, if there is no quick swap there is no pressure to swap or be left out of groups.

My primary concern is the inevitable buff/nerf train that Blizzard will roll over us. (See: Corruption buffs/nerfs after 8.3’s launch, for the most recent examples.)

Back in vanilla, whenever Blizzard changed the talent trees, they wiped everyone’s talents for free so that everyone could respec. (Remember, talent respecs cost a lot of gold back then.)

As long as Blizzard resets everyone’s covenant selections whenever they make even the slightest changes to any covenant after launch, I think we’ll be okay.

But whether they’ll do that or not… who knows.

But forcing that onto others is what Ralph, Oniana, Argoral, and myself like about the system!

If it changes, then we lose what we enjoy about it!

It has nothing to do with RP lol what. If quick swap isn’t there there is no pressure to swap.

Blizzard shouldn’t direct us how to play .

This is a video game it is supposed to be fun all they should do is provide the tools and let us decide the direction we want to go.

They direct us how to play all over the game. Are you new to wow?

If there is no quick swap - players aren’t magically going to say “oh, well we understand you can’t swap so we’ll invite you anyways.” They’ll still decline you or remove you from the group.

Again - I’m in favor of the system. But your argument is weak and doesn’t really support keeping the system restrictive.

No they won’t

lol - you are incredibly adorable.

so is your made up story about what will happen. min maxers would do that, normal groups wouldn’t

I wouldn’t trust them to do a mass wipe without breaking something, simply making the requirements to switch if needed reasonable and not something crazy like…“Bring me 556 expulsom champion and I shall pardon your transgressions”

As a idea, it could very well be something as simple as a questline, turning in signet’s that are buyable on auction house or grindable or even reputation from a tabard to force the switch.

So you loose making people hating the game because them feeling bad makes you feel good .

You know that makes you a pathetic piece of (you can figure it out)

What kind of child mentality is that because no actual adult or at least any one 40 or over would come up with.
