Yes, this literally happened down here. They got slapped with assault with a deadly weapon and a 10 year prison sentence.

Buddy I live in California, you’re not gonna convince me the war on drugs was worse. I grew up in LA, I was basically living in a PvP server IRL. We had barbed wire around my highschool.
I have watched for 30 years as the drug problem has gotten significantly worse. While drugs haven’t been legalized, they’ve been decriminalized, which has only resulted in more lives being lost to drugs. California is absolutely overrun by drug addicts right now, so much so that it’s scary just to go for a walk mid-day because there’s people shooting up everywhere you go, and I hear ambulance sirens 12 times a day from my home.
We have constant, CONSTANT deaths on the street.
You are absolutely not convincing me no matter how much you debate that ending the war on drugs improved the situation. When I was growing up, sure drugs were a thing you heard about but you rarely saw someone doing them.
The decriminalization and the clean drug kits did nothing but make the problem billions of times worse while the people in charge keep saying “You’re welcome” for the “Cleaner streets” as they literally load buses up with people and shovel them to other counties to hide them.
In the same vein, the WoW Token being a legal form of RMT did not…

I lived in Florida for a while, and I will not step foot back in the state. I stand by my statement.
Except on I-4. People collectively lose their mind on that road.
