Suggestion - Servers Without WoW Tokens or Cross-Server Functionality

Just real quick here, my middle finger is killing me (clearly been giving too many people the bird)

There’s a huge difference between “Watching it fail” and “Watching the state decide to stop doing it.”

There are a multitude of reasons why something comes to an end, and it’s not always because it “failed.” The war on drugs “Ended,” it didn’t “Fail.”

If I had 30 years of my life being sort of peaceful despite living in LA, and then the last 5 years have been scared to leave my house because of drug zombies everywhere, it doesn’t sound like the war on drugs “Failed,” it sounds like it was doing its job just fine and the removal of it resulted in a significantly worse drug problem.

But what do I know? I’ve just lived in the middle of it my whole life.

Anyway have a good one Akston.

You’re a goblin.

I did not say it failed, I said it did not stop RMT. I also said it was not better before the wow token. Nyhm was better though, I wish he still made videos.

I personally feel it’s actually costing blizzard more than it’s making. I personally don’t pay to play wow, so it’s the exact opposite of swipe to win. The token functions as a backstop, it allows two way conversion of gold and dollars in the blizzard store. There is nothing in the mix there that is pay to win really. Mounts pets and game time? You could argue buying character boosts, I would dismiss it with the logic that the boosts allow player catch up mid expansion which is good for the game.

Again how will we better off without the wow token?
(I also can give you a sick deal on a red rubber duck that keeps away weevils)

I thought you were leaving.

A token costs more than a subscription. So, for one person to pay for a month of time, someone had to pay over what that person would have paid in real dosh. As long as more tokens are available for sale than people purchasing them with gold, Blizzard is making a profit on the concept.

No I don’t thanks for reminding them, fel dingus

I4 and I95 made me question my life choices that lead me to where I was.

They stopped doing it because it failed.

Your specific neighborhood is irrelevant. The War on Drugs did not have a positive effect anywhere

100000% a fact. You may be normal when you’re born here, but that quickly goes out the window…

I’d rather be Florida Weird than what some states consider normal.

Blizzard makes a profit even if only one token is bought and it never sells because they just made $20 to do nothing but give some digital code to someone’s account saying they have an item in a digital game generated from digital nothing

It’s not “Blizzard makes a profit if”

It’s “Blizzard makes a profit, period”

Greed is not, and has never been, a conspiracy theory

That and they still have no idea why violent crime rates dropped without any direct correlation or causation from the Tough on Crime initiatives.

… They… “Stopped doing it because it failed.”

You… You know the war on drugs was an ongoing thing, right? Like a paladin aura.

You don’t just turn the aura off because “You know what that 2% damage reduction isn’t making us not die so I’ll just turn it off”

What am I doing I want tacos

Anyone else want tacos?

You said they stopped?
