Steve, I think we need to talk. I want to know what you want from me. Am I your tour guide, your acquaintance, your girlfriend? What am I doing here? I can show you some great things, Steve. Idaho may look boring to you, coming from a priveleged tech background, but believe me I’ve seen some things in my time and there’s nothing I’d enjoy more than having someone to share them with. So I’m asking, what is the nature of our relationship? I’m just not sure I understand
Nice.
Awesome, getting to share it with people is something wonderful.
I know the feeling. World building settings is a blast. I’ve never been able to just deep dive on a single setting though… kind of jealous. I need to keep reminding myself this is for a story not for the world itself.
I think I figured out the nature of the Sea of Fragments.
While Higurashi and Umineko are about Bernkastel the story of St. Lucia, the Hinamizawa Syndrome and Hanyuu are all tied to the historical St. Lucia.
St. Lucia was a Saint who was martyred by getting her throat slit explaining why the Hinamizawa Syndrome has people clawing at their throats.
Hanyuu means Feather In while Riku with the U swapped with the I is Ruka and since Japan pronounces L as R well… Luca… St. Lucia…
Ouka 0ca Add the Li and you get Lica. Move the i next to the a and you get Lcia… Add the u and you get Lucia… St. Lucia must resemble Rika…
Miyabi or rather Me Hanyuu 1 Billion is pushing St. Lucia to wake up while Bernkastel is working to save Rika, Hanyuu and their friends from St. Lucia’s revival in Higurashi Mei.
Eua’s proclamation that God would fall to the bottom of the Sea of Fragments gathering dust is a lie as the Sea of Fragments itself is the memories of an Angel who got too big of a head and challenged God getting reduced to a Devil in the process.
St. Lucia will pull herself together and manifest as a cool lookalike of Rika and since Takano was the start of Rika being eaten that means St. Lucia looks like Chloe Ironside with Halo and Wings.

You need to let go, they aren’t coming. You tried, but Steve just doesn’t have room in their life for you. Sometimes that’s how it goes. At the end of the day it is the others, the ones we seek the attention of, who decide if they have room, and how much, for us in their lives. We need to accept that.
It’ll be ok, it’ll hurt for a while, talking to someone can help. In the end though, the pain will fade and perhaps you’ll find someone else, or maybe they will find you.
My Lizard Wizard alt just got the Evoker legendary from their first heroic kill. Had done 5 kills on LFR beforehand but one of those included this week so it was just going off the base drop chance from normal and heroic.
If only I had that luck for Fyr’alath. Which still eludes me.
I been obsessed with Diablo 2 Ressurrected lately and I forgot how much fun the original game was.
Welp, now I wish Dracthyr could wear wizard hats in their lizard form. ‘Lizard Wizard’ is so adorable!
Oh, also, congrats!
I have just came up with a thought: imagine if there were Ghosts similar to Sadako and Kayako in WoW!
Of course since Souls can be drained for Fel such Ghosts would be brought low by Warlocks!
Imagine Sadako or Kayako climbing out of a picture only for Fel Magic to capture and start draining them to oblivion!
Warlocks are clearly a solution to vengeful ghosts who refuse to pass on no matter what ritual is preformed(lay them to rest, burn the corpse, salt, preform an exorcism, etc.)!
It doesn’t matter how angry you are as to Warlocks and Mawsworn you are food just the same!
Nevermind. I’ve got problems.
I ate too much pizza!! Just too much and now I feel dehydrated from the salty goodness of my pizza!!
Ahem. So my project that has kept me on a WoW vacation is about 75% done, finally!! A magnum opus of character reference, currently with over 120 individual NPCs and retired PCs, complete with histories and current known status, all done in under a week!!
My brain is slowly going to mush. Too much clackity clack, too much pizza, too much Photoshop to make all the character reference pictures fit.
I shall be happy when I finish this.
Pizza…
Ahem… Water… and perhaps light stretching.
That is awesome!
Remember breaks help with that, keep the hands, and wrists, moving, get some sun, outside air, and maybe see some plants… they all help with the mind.
You got this.
Oh, I know this. Work is my break from my funtime work, and so is my obsessive need to micro-adjust every single thing on my quasi-art wall; dioramas, small prints, books, etc.
I have been doing all of this for many, many years and know not to type for eight hours at a stretch anymore!!
Nightsong, did you tell me to touch grass?!?
Huh… , I guess that’s one way to see that.
That song gets a bad rap but it has a good groove
(Excuse the double post but they would barely let me post the song. Wouldn’t let me comment. That’s what I get for liking the song. The bass is groovy tho)
Well an update. Just completed the questline for the evoker legendary. Looking forward to using it when I do firelands timewalking with the guild.
I swear though, RNG be like, “oh you want a legendary, here, have the one from the previous raid on an alt”.
I am slogging my evoker through solo shuffles.
I am terrible.
I do not have healing instincts. I barely know what evoker does. I am so sleep deprived. But my goal of having my big four be my big four by the end of the expac has now been reached. And if I funnel him gear on my troll warlock, well… They’re Horde, they probably hang out. Sledge was two flavors of headbutting dwarf and one dragon boy and one salty old troll man in a trench-coat for Dragonflight.
Nope, you are Sledgehammer, one of the nice ones on these forums and perhaps my favorite PvPer… you might also be the only one I know as well…
These might be related…
… Sledge… this is a simple fix, put down the coffee and take a nap.
Excellent! It’s always nice when we hit a goal.
The q word did not apply to last night.
The coffee is all that’s keeping me intact.
Quit? I know the feeling. You’re right there nearly at the goal and then… it’s six hours later.
Also, familiar.
Be safe Sledge, what little you’ve said of your life sounds like you might need to be alert more than the most.
