Somehow that title bug not just being a me bug makes it even worse, how does that not get hotifxed.

Itā€™s an annoyance for sure. I also randomly get credit for achievements I already completed months or years ago

I havenā€™t seen the cinematic bug, but I also never play druidā€¦ though I think Iā€™ll take a break from my shaman for a while. Might be time to get back into being a monk and just tanking the worldā€¦

I am constantly getting hit with the titles bug as well, mine includes DF and TWW titlesā€¦ at least I am on my shaman. When I have also had the achievements from ages ago randomly pop on again.

I havenā€™t noticed the mogs issue, but Iā€™m rather particular about the looks of my toons so I might be missing a lot of looks I unlocked and never use because they just donā€™t fit my aesthetical tastesā€¦

Thereā€™s a UI bug that prevents me from using the snapping/docking feature of the UI without it bugging on every reload. I had to make a UI configuration specifically to counter it. Seems to be a fair number of us who have this issue and bliz either canā€™t understand why it is happening, and/or the number of players affected by it is below the threshold for them to devote resources to it.

Honestly?

Even when the story is making me grind my teeth, I really like WoWā€™s PvP ā€“ compared to the other options out there, anyway.

And itā€™s comfy. I donā€™t really have to engage with it the way I do with newer games where I have to -shudder- LEARN THINGS. I mean, yeah, all my characters are great and obviously I love the bones of the storyā€¦ But it was purely the warm, familiar blanket aspects of the game that kept me playing through Shadowlands, my personal standout for least bearable time to be engaged with WoW at all.

I want to like it but I know I am not very good at it, I lack the quick reactions needed so I historically am That Guy who brings a bear druid.

Look as someone who doesnā€™t play druidsā€¦ I can assure you thereā€™s nothing wrong with that overpowered beastā€¦ translation nothing wrong with that. Just make sure to enjoy yourself.

Saw Nosferatu and boy that was great.

I wouldnā€™t expect it to be for everyone. It is flat out too long imho and has a slow pace. But the cinematography is top notch and just has scenes oozing with gothic atmosphere. Itā€™s easily the best vampire epic since Coppolaā€™s 1994 Dracula and in my mind complete surpasses it.

Also Count Orlok hangs dong. So weā€™ve got that going for us.

Did Wowpedia finally expanded on the lore of the Expansion for War Within? Really wanted to see more background on the new nerubian kingdom, arathi, Earthen and more.

You know, when I returned I promised myself I would take things slow. No big rush to 80, no trying to complete silly weekly thingers, only the fun and easy event stuffā€¦

And I kept that promise for a whole three days. Three!! Iā€™m rather quite proud of myself, that is a new ā€œAlynsa does WoW in moderationā€ record!!

But now I am 80. Level 80, not 80 years old. My eyes feel like they are 80 years old, but they are still not so old.

I only wanted one level today and I simply had to get seven. I blame the government. And Gen Z. For reasons.

So, whatdoIdo after I finish my timewarp dance dungeons??? I can go straight to delves and find out what kind of elves delves are?

Why cant the 3rd of January be right now.

I want to see the latest battle between a dog and a penguin.

I been on a Dune kick lately. The prequel show on HBO Dune: Prophecy was amazing. Excited for season 2 and I recently rewatched the movies again and I decided to buy the first three dune novels.

Donā€™t know why I never got into Dune until recently, but I feel like I been missing out :dracthyr_nod: :dracthyr_heart:

Enjoy the adventure.

Fair warning, the movies have all followed the first book. There have been attempts at making the other two into a film or miniseries, but I honestly donā€™t remember them very well.

Thanks. I heard that they want to do a third movie based on the second book I believe?

But yeah, the movies have been amazing. I think itā€™s because all the casting choices have been excellent. :dracthyr_nod:

That makes sense. Iā€™m not sure how they would adapt the last book.

If you are gonna consume everything duneā€¦ why not play the dune video games, mainly Dune II, the godfather of RTS games (if you can find it that is). It was developed by Westwood Studios, the company that would make the Command and Conquer series. Well until they got merged with other LA based game developers that were brought by EA at various points. At that point it was EA LA.

Ahhhā€¦Command and Conquer. Now that brings back some awesome and fun childhood memories. :dracthyr_heart:

What system was Dune II made for? Sounds like a really old game.

It is a very old game. It was released in 1992. Iā€™m sure it is out there somewhere but you might need mods to bring it up to current systems. I know that was the case for Tiberian Sun and its expansion. Until it got released on steam.

Part of me wants to play it if I can find it. Just to see what it was like to experience one of the earliest RTS games and the one that would lay down the foundation of what the genre would involve.

Iā€™ll certaintly look into it at least. Thanks :dracthyr_nod:

Iā€™ve not read or watched Dune, but from all accounts it seems like something Iā€™d love.

Lately Iā€™ve been reading Elric, and watching Highlander.
Highlander s1 sucks, and the majority of the show is 90s cheese, but itā€™s actually fun once you get past s1.

I love shows like Highlander, Gargoyles, stories like VTM that flash back to the ancient past and show what the character experienced in relation to what theyā€™re currently experiencing now.
