Happ turkey day everyone!
I am jealous to everyone who can eat alot of food today. You are lucky America.
Happy Thanksgiving.
There was a scientist who put rats in pants to test if material had effect on sexual activity, and they found out that polyester is a natural birth control effect on men.
Rats. In. Pants.

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans. Remember itās not over when youāre full, itās over when you hate yourself. Gobble till you wobble.
I was bored. And decided to remake my worgen into a dark iron dwarf.
Itās such a problem
This is kind of the weirdest part of the year for a Great Laker as Iām still waiting for Winter to pounce. Itās cold, and weāve had some snow, but if it was 62 degrees tomorrow it wouldnāt shock me.
But sometime. Sometime between now and the next three months. Iām going to get drop kicked with snowfall, vicious wind and then a sudden but brief burst of heat that turns the icey terrain into a damn skate rink.
So Iām just looking at the sky like;
Leveling my goblin hunter has reminded me of my favorite passive goblin buff ā all her mogs look FANTASTIC.
I really like the goblin model. It has so much character. Sure, the males suffer a bit from Ye Olde Horde Male āone-kind-of-handsome-face-if-you-squint and then a bunch of raging ham-beastsā face disease. And if thereās ONE RACE where the stubble should be impeccable, itās a crime that it wasnāt goblins. But theyāre great. Theyāre so much fun that once I get Splassy up to 80, maybe I should do my goblin mage fellow nextā¦
I might have more time for it than I was planning, because I have been smote with strep. Which is fine. All that playtime. Yay.
I wound up with Oops All Undead again. Like my Worgen but WrA Alliance RP seems pretty sleepy and Iām hesitant to move to MG for reasons.
Probably sticking with Priest and Rogue moving forward. Which I shouldāve started out with because thatās my first and second love respectively but I keep thinking something else will get me.
Itās a good match up as in PvP at least Disc is about as meditative as it gets while Subtlety is a high octane spec. So you get very different experiences.
I have been kind of a slacker on leveling.
Mostly because Battleground Blitz is actually GOOD, or at least makes people more likely to play the maps well enough so that it doesnāt make me want to actively chew my arm off.
I have 4 80s and 3 of them are dwarves. Only two are actively in play. I havenāt really done a ton of content seriously, but Iām actually having fun with my windwalker and arms ā even if Slayer Arms is a sad wet fury warrior.
That being said, Iām at least able to kit the backup girls out in glad gear, which is fun. Goblin will probably make 80 #5 unless I get distracted again. Perish the thought. But I do have DAV and a BG3 playthrough going, plus a lot of blitzā¦ And XCOM2 is always a friend, and DAV (and BG3) remind me of how much I enjoy a good Dragon Age series run through. Or maybe Mass Effect.
Also I have real life stuff that needs doing.
Truly, I suffer. Too much fun available.
Having a blast on my LFD priest.
Really looking forward to that Siren Isle quest. Very close to beating my next BG3 playthrough and right before they announced a new patch which adds in subclasses for all new races.
This time went with a Drow Sorcerer in fond recollection of my longest running tabletop character, Bask Bronzebeard. Drow Sorcerer accidentally adopted by a Dwarven adventurer when he found him in a basket during an excursion into the underdark. He was a kind of uncreative stuntie.
And wouldnāt you believe it I romanced Laezal again.
Still think my best ending is when I freed Whatshisname, took the Squidworst pill for the team and romanced the reformed goth. If the dialogue you get from romancing the Emperor is any evidence thatās a win for her.
Plus it letās Best Girl go to Hell for a chance at an engine fix. And spoiler but it does sound like sheās gotten the lead for one at the after party if you go that route.
But yeah what can I say Iāve a thing for the murderous amphibian chick. Holding hands with her during the sunrise is the cutest arc.
Good Astarion isnāt bad either but boy. He is really insufferable if you give him that blasphemous upgrade that boils down to a pretty good summon and two love bites. Think I sucked his brains out that playthrough on a quicksave.
I admit this is very nitpicky butā¦
The Dracthyr Racial descriptions on the WoW website are pretty whacked out. I hadnāt paid any attention to them until today. Seems to exemplify the Alliance Bias:
Alliance : āThis one Alliance Dragon dude is into order and discipline, and the Alliance is all about that.ā
Horde : āThat one Alliance Dragon dude thinks the Horde sucks, but some other Dragon thinks the Horde could be better if they try.ā
Itās fairly in keeping with everything else they do regarding the factions.
Itās also rather amusing that they keep pushing the conservative language codes onto the alliance while making sure that everyone knows that the only way the horde can be good is by adopting those same values.
Actually wound up playing Wildermyth.
I donāt have all the achievements after the last dlc anymore and that is NOT OKAY.
Itās a great little indy game that is the absolute best at generating little guys for you to care deeply about, and has a great fantasy setting that reminds me of mid 2000s novels (affectionate).
Lol yeah when I read that I laugh really hardā¦ and thought: āWelp, at least the writing team is not hiding it anymore! lolā
Why go through the hard arduous job of picking up textbooks of different cultures, read up of unique government cultures, religions irl or myth, use inspiration on existing IPs to create something new and try to built a believable fantasy when you can just copy pasta Alliance human theme unilateral culture?!
Joking and Sarcasm to the side, I think this is a side effect of real life nowadays cultural mentality in the entertainment industry of what I think its called Cultural relativism that āis the view that moral values must be understood in their own cultural context and not judged according to the standards of a different cultureā.
Stories have always been very human centric for obvious reasons but now a on then cool unique IP creations pops up (SW, Star Trek, Dr Who, LotR, etc) that takes it beyond that and make a big cultural impactā¦ but lately the demand is so High that the hired writers or does who tell the writers what they want the story to be about are showing the limited scope of their imagination and perception of the world at large. (I do not intend this as a malicious criticism or being judgemental itās just an observation on the current entertainment especially in the West, other cultures have this but itās especially apparent in the west IMO)
Iām having a great time playing as a goblin rogue. Should have played on the horde a long time ago.
Perfect time too for Player Housing and the Goblin Patch.
So, I was thinking today as I was messing around on my strictly level 60 Warlock, what if the demons from Warcraft 1 are actually Doomguards?
They fit the description near perfectly. Be a nice little retcon to the lore if blizz ever wanted to revisit the old lore and make some small additional changes to it
