Test post. They were telling me I couldn’t post due to lack of gametime but I’m paid up. So seeing if this goes through after relogging.

That’s fair. I struggled to find my own nitch for a while. Finally settled on doing the world quests/weekly in each zone and just messing with Skinning/Herbalism/Fishing.

I do hope you find something to enjoy though :dracthyr_heart:

I am not going to create new topics anymore in some while. My therapist said I only join discussions where the faction stuff wouldn’t bother me. Sorry for the absence I just needed time to think.

Hope you get better hun. Honestly. Best of luck :dracthyr_heart:

I am genuily hyped for the goblin stuff. I am just not getting who will be our guide when Gallywix is the main villain. There aren’t many named goblins the player actually know by name.

I’m guessing our guide will be part of whatever goblin cartel we pick to be allies with.

With love to see some of the NPCs from the goblin starting zone make a return though. Ones we haven’t seen in a long time

Yeah, I haven’t logged in for at least a week… I was really trying to push through the Delves but I’m clearly not good enough of a player, so I’m done with the treadmill for a time. I’ve still never beaten the Delve boss guy…

Normally I’d just head off to grind mogs or anima… never have enough… but knowing that boss guy is sitting there just bothers me and makes me feel like I’m not doing what I’m supposed to be doing…

So been spending time in ESO… it’s really strange to be in an MMO and see people in the zone chats just giving away materials to their fellow players… or offering to help anyone who needs it. Kind of a nice change in pace from WoW.

I gave up on delves the moment I realized they actually aren’t that solo friendly. Unless you waltz into one wearing mythic raid gear that is. And since I’ll never see the inside of a mythic raid while they’re current, delves became a nuasance and than an irritation

When blizz says something is solo friendly. They usually mean for overgeared raid players.

Ito who wrote Silent Hill’s Lore just revealed a huge reveal on Silent Hill’s Otherworld:

Because Laura bears no Cross(physical or metaphorical) she only sees the Fog World and Otherworld without ever seeing Monsters.

Alessa engraved the Mark of Metatron on her Blood-Splattered Otherworld and thus summoned her inner torment as Monsters in the process hoping they would put her out of her misery. Harry of course got to the Monsters first.

The Mark of Metatron it should be noted manifested a Monster representing God in Alessa that Harry was able to exorcise and kill granting the Order’s God time to rebirth Alessa as Heather.

Of course the Order’s God tried to use Heather to rebirth which summoned the Otherworld to Heather’s World while at the same time Vincent’s obsession with the Mark of Metatron and Douglas’s likely faith in Christianity when sent by Claudia to fetch Heather summoned Monsters into Heather and Claudia’s dream world driving it to become a Blood-Splattered Otherworld.

Heather ate the Exorcism Pill and exorcised the Monster representing the Order’s God she summoned into herself thanks to her, Douglas & Vincent’s exposure to Christian Relics and Beliefs and Claudia ate it leading to the Monster tearing it’s way out of her as it completed it’s birth while the Order’s God either possessed Heather(Bad Ending where the Order’s God was nourished with Hatred) or went dormant(Good Ending).

The Monsters of Silent Hill Origins are due to Alessa messing with the Demon from Christianity Flauros which like the Mark of Metatron and those who believe in the Cross summoned Monsters from Travis and Alessa’s Torment until Travis sealed away Metatron as Alessa used it to extract the Order’s God in the form of Cheryl whom the Order tried to draw back with Alessa’s torture so that she could create a Paradise.

Too bad the Order couldn’t properly explain this to Alessa who thought that her torture was going to something inside her not to Cheryl and thus when she invoked the Mark of Metatron caused a Monster to infect her.

If someone tries to ensure the return of the Order’s God they better have a good idea of what the Mark of Metatron does: create Monsters from the torment of those who manifest the Otherworld and Fog World in the same way Christian Faith and Christian Relics creates them!

For me Delves are… fine. But, just that. Fine.

I can easily solo them on both my Shaman and Priest but not until I was about 584(ish) with my ilvl from WQ drops. Anything above 6 you have to just be really mindful to use CC’s, pull small and take advantage of survivability CDs if you have them. It’s a little more challenging on Priest since I don’t have any interrupts and limited mobility for high movement boss fights. They did buff Brann’s healing quite significantly, so running them with him as heals is much more do-able versus when it was at launch.

That being said, I’m finding them to be REALLY repetitive. I’m not someone that raids or does PvP anymore so it’s really the only way to unlock things in the vault so it’s felt really grindy and repetitive. The only thing I really want to do is unlock my tier appearances so I’m doing just enough level 3 delves (which are significantly easier/faster) for a chance at vault tier and then playing Classic right now.

I still have trouble at nearly 610 ilvl on my shaman above t7.

I find them troublesome in the same way I find dungeons boring. They’re cool a few times but after awhile I’m doing the same dance again and again even if you throw in a few new steps.

This is why the last PvE thing I really enjoyed were Island Expeditions. The Azerite placements were different enough to never feel samey and they had a rotating cast of maps and enemies. And always a surprise third act group of villains that could be anything to dragons to elementals to pirates to hostile troll tribes.

I would like to enjoy holidays, but people make it such a bother, sometimes.

I get invited to some holiday parties. I say no immediately. I think I am in the clear. But then as the events approach, I get guilt trips about not going.

I try to be polite and decline, as soon as possible… but their insistence afterwards is like… they are begging me to be rude and just say “I would rather do anything else with my time”
