It’s Conquest Weapon Day

Had a panic attack at first because nobody explained to me it was an achievement now.

Happy to have some more agency though. I was kinda baffled why they were giving me a mace and scepter when the staff had roughly as much Versatility and ya know, Haste.

I’m obscenely fortunate that I was offered the two hander.

Edit: whoops, didn’t mean to double post.

This time I did intend to triple post.
If you haven’t played the Legacy of Kain franchise, Soulreavers 1 and 2 are being remastered and you owe it to yourself to try it.

It’ll be on pc, playstation, and idk what else.

Apparently people have been getting Zelda Echoes of Wisdom early(tomorrow is it’s release) and posted videos of the Bosses:

Apparently the Golden Goddess of Power, Fire and Earth Din can be imprisoned(according to Tri) by an Echo of Volvagia the Fire God. That puts Din below Volvagia’s descendant Valoo(who should be equal to an Echo of Volvagia)!

This also explains why the Golden Goddesses got Hylia to protect the Triforce: The Golden Goddesses were simply calling in their Boss to guard the All-Powerful Seal on Null made from combining the individually weak fractions of their power.

They at least were smart enough to account for the Top God deciding she wanted a quick power boost despite it releasing Null and rigged the Triforce so that it wouldn’t work for Gods.

Too bad Demise the Demon King decided he would take the Triforce’s power to unleash his hatred upon the Gods and injured Hylia forcing her to reincarnate as various Humans one of which was drained by Vaati to become one of the Top Gods(alongside Bellum the Phantom God) and forcing the Golden Goddesses to resort to create Tri’s race to patch the fissures to stave off Null…

In terms of Hyrule’s Pantheon we have:
At the Top: Hylia, Vaati and Bellum.

Directly below them: Dinraal, Farosh, Naydra, the Ocean King, Malanya the Horse God, the Horned God and his counterpart the Vaati-drained Hylia.

Directly below them: Volvagia the Fire God, Blizzagia the Ice version of Volvagia I.E. the Ice God, the Sky God Levias, the Wind God Zephos, the Wind God Cyclos, the Water God Jabu Jabu, the Guardian God Molgera(presumably the Earth God), the Guardian God Jahalla(probably another Wind God like the Frogs and Vaati) and the 4 Giants of Majora’s Mask.

Directly below them: The Three Golden Goddesses, the Deku Tree, Jabun and Valoo.

Right at the bottom: Faron, Eldin, Lanayru, Lynels and the Zonai.

Echoes of Wisdom gives us a lot to think about in terms of the Deity department.

I just went through a whole “Hassan chop” rabbit hole.

That old cartoon cracks me up. I googled the phrase after I woke up because it came up…. and found out there was an Offspring song in 2021 based on that phrase. I haven’t even thought of that band in like 20 years. The song sounds like it could have been made in the early 2000s during the Iraq war. I guess the lyrics are kind of timeless.

Then I looked on You Tube, and saw a clip from Yugioh. I have never in my life had the urge to watch Yugioh , but I watched that clip just because it said “Hassan chop!” - and it was kind of funny.

I am not into anime but I appreciate a shout out to the classics.

I don’t even know what’s happening in that clip, looks like a card game of some sort?

But “Hassan Chop!” cuts through any context.

I really have mixed feelings on the capped conquest. Like I get it as a mechanic but I’m already maxed on my main. And I didn’t even log on yesterday.

Gives me plenty of time to catch up on my alts I guess but my main is my main because I enjoy playing them.

Guess I could always play for ratings sake or to try to get the vicious saddle but honestly I’ve been happy with my black bonesteed since BFA. The spider crab does nothing for me and the only other one I sort of want is the knife chicken hawkstrider. But I pretty much only play one of three undeads or a decidedly mount less worgen druid.

I been slowly working on mine. Still haven’t gathered enough to get the weapon yet. I forgot all about the quest and picked it up after being close to Conquest capped.

But I’ll get there. I’m stubborn when I put my mind to something :dracthyr_nod:

I agree.
I spend my time killing folks but inevitably The Zerg :tm: rushes.

BM hunters I have concluded, at least in Random BGs, make excellent flag carriers. Me and my little army of pets make me such a pain in the rear to healers and ranged DPS that people gang up on me to get me out of the way. :dracthyr_heart:

BGs are also fun when you have a team that actually works together.

Monks and Evokers seem to be the strongest in Blitz but it’s always a team effort. A good frost mage in the right place can pretty much single handedly shut down pursuers.

Hell even I managed to score a game winning WSG point by grabbing the flag off the downed warrior in the nick of time. Luckily I only had to carry it across 1/5th of the flag room and even that was a close call. Disc Priests are good at a lot of things but mobility isn’t one of them.

A great Disc priest is impossible to kill I find. The most you can do is try to shut them down or annoy them so much they run off to go annoy someone else.

Which is what I find BM hunters are pretty good at. Just being pests that make peoples lives difficult or healing rotations hell to deal with because now you have anywhere between 2-4 pets beating on you at any given moment

Honestly your best bet is to take advantage of their lack of mobility and just keep them away from the fight. Especially if you’ve slows that aren’t magical effects I can dispel. Can’t exactly do much healing if I can’t physically make it to the fight.

Slowly but surely getting my MM mojo back. Stopped playing them in BFA because they were at best mid for arena and RBGs weren’t in the cards.

They’re really solid for BG Blitz so far. Still need to get better at the spec to survive those one V one duels but that spark was back after I single handedly held down Gold Mine in AB from that vantage point on top of roof.

Just;

(This is Cursewords on my Rogue)

When it comes to BG objectives… it can feel like…

Alone again, naturally
