If American politics and media weren’t incredibly messed up at the moment, he’d be in jail. It’s the unfortunate truth that a large amount of Americans want what he’s selling and aren’t just voting for him out of general conservative leanings.
God I hate that only the Right wing insane christians have any real political pull in the US.
Because Trump basically ticks every box on the “things Jesus preached against” list.

he feels like a pretty apt distillation of the republican hijacking of christ which has been going on for many, maaaaaany decades. as a current seminarian, it does make introducing my work pretty awkward at times. “yes, i walk the Way. no, i’m not nutty or conservative abt it”

Liked the prepatch story well enough but not sure about the actual event. I guess Azeroth is having a nightmare or tantrum and I’ve to fight old bosses from Christmas Past that give me Not Azerite gear tokens.
In itself not the worst idea but when I got on the next one wasn’t for over an hour. So this epic tale of fantasy adventure starts with all the thrill of waiting for a train.

I have had a few awkward conversations with people on this topic. The worst part is the people who claim that God speaks to them, and they refuse to hear anything against their opinions. I always have to bite my tongue to keep from demanding to know what God’s voice sounds like or ask how long they’ve been hearing voices.
It reminds me a little of the Wrath event but without the undead plague.

As someone who fell out of that religion for…numerous reasons. I always struggled with a All knowing, all powerful, creator of the universe talking us mere mortals.
If he wanted something done….he can just…you know, do it. Doesn’t need anyone doing it for him

I’ve never been a big fan of religion. To me a relationship with God is something that is deeply personal for each individual. And I see a big difference between following God’s teachings and using them as an excuse to promote an agenda.

And yes that means Brainiac is bad at emulating Scarecrow! Since he just lost his Flash-Superman Hybrid form he is left with Green-Lantern-Superman which will only be effective if he decides to throw in Green Fear Toxin(and since Green Lantern is immune to Non-Yellow Fear Toxin…)! Cue Harley Quinn mixing up Yellow Fear Toxin to actually hurt the guy!
And that would be the missing secret sauce.
That event may be one of my favorite in WoW history. I still remember being a part of a gargantuan ghoul conga line that shambled from STV to Elywyn, absolutely devasting the place before finally being quelled at the gates of Stormwind.
And yeah it was basically sanctioned griefing but so? It was a brief little peroid of time that just let anarchy reign and it was delightful.

I done two of the three Radiant Echos so far, and I must say, so far this pre-expac event is rather underwhelming. It’s laggy, it’s boring and I’m not sure what I will do once I get the achiev for doing all three echos
I could farm Memories for the heirloom ring I guess. We’ll see

The only amusement I get out’ve it is skyriding in places I’ve not been for awhile. Which is a thrill I think is about to wear thin because I’ve now been to all three resonant zones and tbh none of them go down as anyone’s favorite.

Biggest reason I am even bothering to log in… I don’t have an Heirloom rings… though as usual Bliz has quiet handedly ruined this system, so while I’ll collect it to have it I’m likely to never use it.

I don’t have any either. But since they made leveling super easy with the exp bonus from your Warband, I’m wondering why I should even bother with it honestly.
And there’s no point in farming DF, the expansion is officially over now.

Same. Well other then my neurological need to have it because it exists… at least for now. I’m like a damned cat, I see shiny and want it, but then get bored. If the drop rate for the crap I need for it isn’t high enough it’ll just be another item I don’t get because bliz likes the absurd idea of rarity in a digital game.
They also nerfed Heirlooms Ilevels as well. Now they are about 9 ilvls below basic quest greens. I’m sure there will be times where they relevel to a higher ilvl but chances are that slot will just get replaced on the next quest green.

I’m the same way when it’s something new during an event that I want. But than it looses its luster because I didn’t have fun collecting it.
I’m disappointed in this event I guess. The one for DF was a lot of fun for me. Suppose I was just expecting too much

I suspect the prepatch event for the next two parts of the Trilogy will be more exciting. Gotta keep in mind this is still the start of part 1 of a 6-8 year project.

I wouldn’t hate it soo much if it was at least playable. The lag is horrendous and the constant disconnects is getting on my nerves and we still have like a couple weeks of this

Patch day do what patch day do. I decided to wait until later tonight or perhaps tomorrow to do it so the rush would be done.
