I had to laugh at how tone deaf that interview was.
“oh we had to do Anduin’s character Justice, this is why we literally couldn’t be bothered to have any horde rep at all”
“Oh you need to be patient and wait until the expansion’s over, we’re totally planning on doing horde stuff later, and have never cut Horde content entirely out of expansions or lied about future promises in interviews like this one”

The Best case scenario is if Undermine is actually fully fleshed out and integrates into the greater plot and not just basically its own little thing like Mechagon.
But looking at how bad things are looking for prepatch and launch I am not putting much faith in the mid-expansion content patch to be all that overwhelming

Thrall hit the cosmic jackpot not once, but twice in a few short years. I don’t get blizzs obession with dragging him through the mud lately though.
Hopefully it improves with Metzen back and we get back the thrall we all fell in love with

TWW’s Thrall is 100% under the creative guidance of Metzen. I’d say historically Thrall is an in game parallel to how Metzen is doing IRL.
So, I guess he really could use some hugs right now.

You know the funny thing is I barely registered it was only Alliance characters because it was about Dwarves.
And c’mon who doesn’t love those guys? Of all the fantasy races I’d want to befriend a dwarf the most, and the good thing about them is that’s true for pretty much all settings.

SO, I am soo close to getting a heirloom ring finally. Got the essence of eastern kingdom. Just need Kalimdor and Northrend ones.
Should have it soon. End of the week tops

It isn’t about dwarves, though.
It’s about Alleria and Xal’atath.
The only one I know how to get is the one from WoD’s garrisons, but it’s easy to permanently screw up the questchain (done it on three separate characters.)

There’s a new ring you can get from the pre expac event going on. You buy a Lifeless Stone Ring from one of the Radiant Vendors, than during the Radiant Memories events, you ocassionally get Memory of Northrend Memory of Eastern Kingdoms or Memory of Kalimdor. Have to collect 20 of each one, than combine them into a Essence of EK, Northrend, Kalimdor. After that, you right click the ring to combine all the essences and you got yourself a new heirloom ring

I always get a good laugh when Dadgar does “Oh I remember this one” during the pre-patch event. Dude how can you remember something when you weren’t even here in the first place. I didn’t see Khadgar trying to find all of those damn pages of a book in Strangethorn.

God, I log onto the game, and Thrall is crying about some thing, in a pop up.
Quite obtrusive.
I guess this is the much ballyhooed “Metzen Era”
Thrall remains the last tatter of a connection the Horde Player may have to this Alliance Story

So, I finally got the heirloom ring plus the Dalaran Defender set. I am one happy lil desert fox lock now. I might continue doing the event now that blizz has changed it and it isn’t nearly as laggy as it was. Huge plus there.
Made it tolerable at least to do

I just hate how I keep getting the memories of X once I have the heirloom ring. Increasing the stacks to 100 is a pointless change because the issue is that they should not keep dropping once you got the ring.

Nothing like trying to get friends to play WoW with you and getting various non-committal too polite to say no directly answers, rounded off with “I thought that game died years ago” to take the wind from your sails.
All I wanted was a couple people to do Delves with sometimes for fun. Bleh.

Turns out that there are a pair of unique looking shields from the prepatch event that you can only get on leveling toons. If you get one you get the other (as they are faction themed). Really scummy of Blizzard to do that. Considering that the gear rewards you get on a non level 70 are not warbound, nor do they show up on any of the vendors.
