So a friend informed me that you keep misunderstanding what I said and trying to use it to shame me. Had to come back and see what that’s all about.
Wow. Still harassing me over a comment you did not even read or comprehend, huh?
You poor soul. You keep trying so hard. You claimed that there are ALL OF THESE TRANSMOG SETS we get from quests and achievs!
I asked you to point them out. Show me all of these special sets we get from quests and achievs.
You came back with a set we had to grind, challenge modes not in the game, and… quest greens? Which has nothing to do with your thread about these types of special sets.
I’m glad you get such a kick out of not even comprehending what someone says and twisting it to fit your false narrative.
Which is exactly what you keep doing! Glad you finally figured it out!
You poor girl. I don’t know what happened to make you this nasty, but I hope life gets better.
Yup. Made profits EXCEEDING what they projected and STILL fired over 800 people just last year.
Yup, we still have vanilla items that literally look like they were made in Minecraft…
Oh and it 100% shows. Have you tried opening a ticket? You literally get an automated responses (which a blue has claimed there are no automated responses but templates that GMs use) the first time you open a ticket. You have to literally open two ticket (some have stated it took 4) to get an actual response on what you’re talking about in the ticket.
Someone earlier in another thread made a ticket about an loot issue and the first 3 tickets were “we’re not going to unlift the ban” I thought that was particularly hilarious because I’ve experienced similar debacles…It’s kind of embarassing for such a company that used to have world class customer support.
Yeah, I agree. If they’re going to try and say they’re adding all this in-game content to the cash shop because they don’t have enough money, raise the sub price.
Back when subs were introduced it was guaranteed that you were getting everything in-game because you were continuously paying to support it.
Now it’s just nickle and dime your fan base wherever you can.
You realize you just quoted someone who’s literally reading them, right? And made a post about how he’s reading them, essentially…?
I don’t get what you’re failing to comprehend. Are you trying to argue that if they didn’t charge money for shop items, they literally wouldn’t exist? Because I can maybe kind of see your argument? That development would have probably been put towards things that make more sense with each expasion and not a flying pig.
Thank you.
And my opinion is that it shouldn’t exist at all…but you’re right.
They started purposefully trying to argue things that I already had gone over multiple times. Essentially trolling.
Never said they were fact, I asked a question. Care to answer?
You’re right, I’ve been mean to every person who understands what I’m saying and continues to harass, troll, call me names, and try to argue things I’m not discussing at all.
I only get mean and nasty when people start saying things like “Oh so you think because transmog items are in the shop that we don’t get raid tiers anymore? PROVE IT! Show me proof that we don’t get raid tiers!”
She’d probably give me a high five for sticking up for myself.
Imagine thinking I have friends, GOOD ONE!
People are 100% whole heartedly welcome to bring their own opinions and say “I disagree with you, I like spending real life money on mounts, transmogs, pets, and toys vs getting them in game”
That’s fine. They’ve stated they disagree, what their preference is, awesome! I’ve even told people “I’m glad you enjoy farming gold and it’s fun for you, I don’t like doing that and that’s what this post is about, my opinion”
It’s when people continue to badger me, harass me, call me names is when I get nasty back. I’m not going to let people walk over me, I’ll stick up for myself.
You never answered my question, why is this an acceptable defense to them getting worse and worse?
I was serious. Why is saying “Well, It’s not as bad as THIS company” make them moving towards that direction, acceptable?
Hardly lazy at all , more like you guys just cant afford it . People cant mock top fashion just because some of you cant manage to make tmogs out of it not my problem .
So Blizzard has to charge us for in-game items that we already pay for by supporting the game…because the world might collapse, at which point nobodies going to be playing video games anyway?
Please clarify.
Oh I know. Blizzard last year made more money than they had projected and still fired 800 employees. They’re just having such a hard time giving pay raises to the new CEO’s of the company since the original members left, that have no clue how to do anything but maximize profits out of their fan base.
You’re like that Diablo mobile announcer guy “Don’t you guys have phones?”
“Don’t you guys have wallets?”
joking aside, for the 5th time It’s not about it costing $20. It’s about there being transmog at all in the cash shop.
It happens pretty much almost every time I make a post stating my personal opinion, maybe not to this extent. But I seem to truly magnetize all the forum dwelling trolls. You can see many of them come in and out constantly throughout to basically just try and derail and harass me and when I defend myself go “Omg, you’re harassing me!”
After going to the gym and eating dinner, I wanted to boil down my logic on this. I would have a problem with this cosmetic if:
It was only being received through the 6-month subscription
The optional pricing was $25 ($20 is still a bit high)
It was only being offered for a short period of time (artificial scarcity)
It adds in-game power
Looking through, it does none of these things and fits being an optional cosmetic for people to want. I dont think this is a slippery slope, I think its just an extension of what is reasonable to put on the cash shop.
I’m pretty sure it has something to do with you posting essay-long responses quoting five or six posters at once so you net in people who have previously posted in this thread to defend their opinions and statements, only to be met with dismissiveness, sarcasm, and thinly-veiled rudeness. For example:
(because you can definitely vouch for what other players find as fun, I didn’t know you were the whole player base)
(you say after vouching for everybody on what ‘fun’ is)
(you say after I bought the set with money I earned through my work so I felt satisfied; speaking for the entire playerbase yet again)
(you say as you make a whole inflammatory thread on your opinion and berate others for disagreeing)
I can scrape through your heinous posts some more if you’d like me to. Do not act so holier-than-thou and pull a victim card when you’ve been nothing but inflammatory this entire thread.
Throughout our entire conversation yesterday, you WOULD NOT STOP bringing up the fact that I wouldn’t source the information I found on Google, it was literally the ENTIRE reason in your mind what I was saying was invalid… but if you dont want to “waste your time” backing up a comment then thats okay right?
Not as juicy as I hoped honestly but its been a long day at work. QQ … but lets find another shall we.
I honestly don’t believe that people are the problem for Blizzard trying to make money like a freemium game while still gating people behind subs. People didn’t ask repeatedly for Blizzard to introduce microtransactions in a game which is pay to play.
But I really wonder why are people defending this move? I get it it’s their money and they are happy to spend it but do they realize that they are in fact enabling Blizzard to do this more and impact the entire playerbase as a result?
