I consider most the Heritage armor and Warfront gear BFA gear, along side the quest greens I rather liked BFA gear actually.
However, these are the same people that supported Blizzard adding in leveling boosts and they are still in the game. So I don’t see Blizzard ever removing microtransactions. It’s evident with these WOW token sales and now in gold game nerf. It’s a sad time for MMO’s. There use to be a sense of achievement for them, now it’s just fools who spend their money to obtain instant gratification.
Right, but they were talking about Tier sets. Those aren’t tier sets.
Can you answer? The Heroic edition wasn’t necessary to “pay to play” as you call it.
That’s the issue. People can’t let go of tier sets, and they act like because tier sets are low suddenly the art team isn’t trying. Despite the fact that the art team is making all the other sets that look fantastic during the same time.
They need some recognition.
Because It’s not free?
Completely irrelevant information?
I understand Blizzard could do way worse like other companies, but from the get go they were unlike every other company. That’s why I like them, It’s why I supported them. Slowly they’ve begun to rot from the inside though, core members leaving, firing thousands of employees, cash shop all in the name of maxing profits. It just sucks.
Exactly.
Take a shot and enjoy the ride <3
It clearly implies they’re goin to add more. Please use some basic logic.
Also, there’s no “gambling” involved in these “MTX”. They are all guaranteed items.
Still waiting to see if CE items count as supporting MTX or is it just “pay to play.”
For the most part I really don’t think they DID try with raid sets, aside from one or 2. But again, that’s my opinion. Heritage and Warfront sets? Hit or miss with some, but those that really stood out I feel they did a good job with. But again, that is entirely subjective.
The sets themselves were objectively not bad.
The only issue was whether or not those sets would fit your character.
Would the Horde Darkshore warfront set fit a troll druid? Probably not.
But if you’re a rogue or warlock? It’s perfect.
Yeah, that was part of the issue I think.
Are you not able to read? Here I highlighted it in bold for you. I don’t support it, because I don’t buy microtransactions any longer.
lol nice - so you don’t buy them any longer as of last week. - 10/13/20 Achievement
Commendable.
Oh no a completely optional cosmetic you probably don’t want, definitely don’t need, and probably would never use that is completely optional is optional…
oh nooooo
Say it isn’t so!
So you don’t care if they put everything that you don’t NEED in the cash shop?
You 100% did, with your subscription.
Once you give your money to Blizzard, they can do with it whatever they want.
It’s not the root or a prime example. It was a small thing that contributed to the much larger problem we’re facing. Transmog in the cash shop should be a no go for everyone.
Once a year CE editions are a a lot different than non-stop mounts, pets, and transmogs added constantly to the store…pretending they’re remotely the same is just daft.
Weird, that has nothing to do with tier sets…
Couldn’t have said it better myself. “I’d spend $100 if I could to buy the mage tower appearances!”
People who have no clue what’s the point of even playing a game…
Buying an edition of a game isn’t the same thing ad a microtransaction.
A micro transaction is just that. A small, quick, this-for-that business model that you get something of comperable value.
Everyone makes mistakes. Funny how you are trying to use my past against me by linking my achievs when I even stated prior to that, I bought them in the past and I no longer support microtransactions. The Transmog tab just came out yesterday goof ball. Keep up with your witch hunt though .
