I’m not necessarily disagreeing with you here, but public opinion has been known to sway people towards the path of idiocracy.
Take masks as a hot button issue, for example.

But of all the predatory behavior Blizzard has done so far, this dreaded transmog is pretty low on my list.
Pretty sure I’d put the actions against people regarding HK and Diablo Immortal in general on the top of my list
Individual accountability is a thing. Individuals that make bad decisions have to live with those decisions and the consequences of those decisions.
Be careful what you wish for, having the government get involved and play the nanny because people can’t/won’t control themselves from making bad decisions and then have buyers remorse can and will have unintended consequences as it always does.
We’ve seen one set. Definitely good. They’re also using them to sell the game. Did you see bfa? First ones were pretty good and they went downhill after that. Nylotha aside from leather one was one mog for every armour class of every faction. Eternal palace was one mog for everyone and terrible at that.
Seriously, I can’t wait for one mog for every class of both factions per raid tier and more store mogs. Gonna be awesome.
Yesterday Blizzard set precedent by adding in the Transmog tab yesterday for armor cosmetics. If you think they are only going to have a promotional 6 month sub free item you are crazy. They would of never added the Transmog tab and then also added the item to buy for $20 without paying for a 6 month sub then. This is the start of it, and it seems like many of you have never played another MMO in the past and lived this before.

So the tab was the precedent, not the fact that they started selling transmog stuff TEN YEARS AGO?
If they didn’t put a tab and just put it in with the other stuff… that would be ok?

And even then I feel that most, if not all sets available to us in game look better, but that’s my opinion.
Diablo Immortal can go burn in a fire. I honest to N’Zoth gave Blizz the benefit of the doubt there, thinking that a mobile game could be fun.
Then I found out about RAID SHADOW LEGENDS. and how every other mobile game is a copy of another mobile game that offers nothing but buying stuff for short term gratification.
THAT is disgusting.
Throwing in a free mog with a sub? Not nearly as bad.
There is a serious leap in logic here.
Just because I think something is cool, or even amazing (ie Sylvarien Dreamer), does not mean I have to get it. It is cosmetic so, cool or not, it is unnecessary to play the game. And therefor unnecessary, period.

I did not pay Blizzard to make a fairy outfit. And I don’t remember being given that option. (However, if we are being given options for the cash shop items, Blizzard, I would like a purely blue Twilight for my mage. And am willing to pay full price for it.)
Ahh… I was hoping you would reveal the root of your resentment at some point.
Think of it as a learning experience. Now you know not to pre-purchase products. Wait until they out, read reviews, watch videos and then decide. I mean, yeah, it was not a cheap lesson. But it will be one that stays with you and may save you even more money and distress in the future.

I would much prefer they didn’t add a transmog tab to the cash shop and left it purely for mounts and pets like they’ve since people got mad about it the first time they tried it.
I agree, people who support the game the most should get some kind of compensation. But this isn’t the right way in my opinion.

Of course they aren’t going to be adding sub par items in the future for money that looks visually worse than the best in game obtainable armor sets lol. They will be spending a good amount of design resources to fund their billions even more.

To me all store stuff is mostly ugly or plain … they are + to my collection since those i have were free , nothing else , what’s in-game so far is way more appealing , be it mog or mounts …
