Oh is BfA thriving? I’m learning a lot about how successful this new direction has been
Cladis often make troll/sarcastic post just wanted to help you out with that.
I have no connection to that color, thanks.
Yep like if your really into grinding anyways might as well do it if not do other content instead the items will take a long time to get up there each.
Idc about wq gear being relevant and competitive, but the hypocrisy here is quite honestly insulting. I’d be willing to be the average arena player has quite a bit more game knowledge than the average person doing wq’s (it’s honestly easier to heal a m+10 than a 1600 rated 3s game), so the “oh what if they buy the wrong gear” argument is just totally null and void at this point.
There’s no other explanation other than just being unable to swallow their pride and go back on a bad decision (removing PvP vendors, for those following along).
#bringbackvendors
Its doing the opposite.
Recruitment pool keep shrinking because plenty of people gear right past it quickly with unloseable world content.
I farm high iLvL, high rated Arenas for elite xmogs / tabards / enchants / titles. Yes I want to be superior to all the casuals. If I’m better at the game then you I want YOU to look at me and know it immediately. My item level and xmogs should suggest that I’ve spent more time then you, that I’ve done harder content, that I can destroy you in 1v1 combat.
If people want to play with Naga’s and Gnomes and herb collect all day long that’s totally fine. Just know you’re playing FarmVille WoW edition and not the actual game and don’t expect free handouts for it.

I really don’t get how people aren’t realizing this. Folks thinking people only raid for the experience are being purposely ignorant of what managing a raiding guild requires.
Recruitment doesn’t end after defeatinga boss. You keep recruiting and you keep gearing recruits/ alts.
WQs have made that unnecessary.
Ion said, they were concerned about vendors in PvP because they were afraid people would choose the wrong piece
Yeah because randomly getting bad pieces is so much better then letting us decide for ourselves what we think is or isn’t the wrong piece.
Casual gear rewards typically have fixed stats. It’s not like people are going to be able min-max with WQ rewards. I might buy a few pieces of benthic gear that have crit and haste and then grind those to 430.

Just know that those same players playing Farmville WoW are rewarded with the same gear you are for doing nothing. Taking pride in your character isn’t a big deal anymore, sorry man.
Can’t even tell you how many hours I’ve spent playing, learning every single talent, spell, offensive/defensives/CC for every class in the game. For the most part I even know rotations for most of those specs as well, so I know what to expect at exactly what time.
Easily 1000’s of hours at this point.
And that’s exactly why this game is going to go out of business if it continues this model.
You guys are the problem, not us.

Nah, it’ll become “login for your daily reward” phone game for your PC.
Talk about a ego trip
Reading some of the comments makes me /facepalm
Going by their logic i should get mythic level gears because i log in the game and pay 15 dollars
Talk about a ego trip
But is he really wrong?
Nobody needs anything from the game. It is about playing and being rewarded for playing, not only being rewarded for playing a specific way. Now if raid rewarded gear only worked in raids then we could be talking about this. Loot is finally getting closer what Blizzard claimed it would be from beta vanilla when they said raids would only drop cosmetic improvements.
Just because you play football with friends on the weekends, should you be allowed on to the same field as the players for the super bowl? Better players deserve to be where they are for a reason.
Honestly I don’t even care at this point, I just want to be able to have some agency in what secondaries I actually go after. I don’t even care if the gear drops to 0ilvl when the arena ends. Even with m+ I can spam certain dungeons for certain drops if I want to. PvP you just have to get lucky and get the stats combos you want
