“Perception” isnt even part of the equation.
There is no debate, no discussion or argument to be had. Raids are absolutely more difficult than wqs.

To them, time-gating is equal in difficulty as a heroic raid, they also say it’s more about when you get the gear rather than getting it or not getting it.
It’s just basic “I want this because I paid $15 and I don’t want to do challenging content”, for some reason they need heroic ilevel gear for WQs.
Personally, I don’t get what the point of playing a game is if it’s not challenging, also the way the game is heading we’ll all eventually just have templates that are set with each patch after hitting max level.
Omg. Pls dont use that word. Lol
With that. How are you on your professions and wqing or is this based on just your pvp.
I’m sorry, I honestly don’t understand what you’re asking me.
Yeah so, you know those amazing BC/WoTLK/WoD systems we used to have? They got rid of them, and when asked why there are no gear vendors to purchase from they replied saying that.
I guess time is irrelevant to you.
I couldnt care less what item level my gear is, as long as I dont feel as though I’m being treated like yesterday’s trash with garbage gear (Like in WoD) just because I hate having to conform to someone else’s idea of what I should be doing.
It’s not, but just because you repeatedly do the same WQs for four weeks doesn’t mean you deserve the same ilevel piece as someone killing Heroic Azshara. The difficulty difference is immense and not even remotely close, that is my point you shouldn’t be rewarded for time but difficulty of the task at hand.
So raids and pvp is more important to be a standard for people to gear in difficulty.I see.
If the WQs were actually difficult then I wouldn’t have a problem, but they’re not even close to being the same difficulty as a heroic raid boss or 1800+ arenas.
But yet ,this should be a standard that all should fellow?
By that logic, someone making $30,000 a year should never make as much in four years as someone who made $120,000 in one year.
There is nothing wrong with people being able to gradually catch up at a far slower pace through easier content. Doesn’t hurt the egos of the elites, and gives people progression at a slower pace.
This actually makes a fair amount of sense.
I do not believe you run many wqs if you believe they outgear themselves quickly.
WQ gear increases in increments of 5. They dont leap currently.
The only leaps happen in i believe monthly events such as the dark shore, and it is for s singular piece.
Emissaries will give an item that may be 5 to 10ilvl higher for a single random piece.
You can mythic gesr yourself much more quickly comparatively and have stronger gear period.
Bruh, you hiring io psychologists?
I believe you it sure does look it’s heading that way.I just hope it doesn’t though.
Agreed. Most of us who are upset don’t want to be, we want the game to be good. I know a lot are leaving but I’m probably going to resub for classic and play it in my offtime casually, maybe taking it more serious when I hit max level. Ive said it many times now but I hope it reminds them of why people not only MMORPGs but just RPGs in general. Some of my favorite games include FF, Fire emblem, golden sun, pokemon, etc… all RPGs. I loved the earlier versions of WoW, tolerated the cata-wod era but lately it just seems like they’e lost their way, and for as much as I go after them I truly due hope they can turn it around.
This is where I am getting at you are basing in two of you chosen fields pvp and raids as a standard for the whole player base according to your experience,“It should be” or "it has to be " because this is what I do.
People can’t and wouldn’t fellow others standards for game play,it just doesn’t work.I can say that all mages should fellow my standards for game playby just jumping into arenas or pvp ,even normal to heroic raids, but that would be foolish on my part to do so.
The person who does harder content will have a higher average item level.
Average item level does matter. It makes all the difference in the world when you compare someone who has many pieces of 430+ loot to a person who has one piece of 430 loot. You keep wanting to keep the argument as narrow as possible because looking at the whole picture, which is something you have steadfastly refused to do, shows that your argument is pointless.
I don’t think you’ve ever so much as glanced at a game that is actually P2W.
STOP THROWING GEAR AROUND AND REWARDING MINDLESS PLAY
Appears I may indeed be some of the few people who are aware the equipment player receives will only be vendored and replace by Questing greens within the next expansion.
If those who dislike the concept simply ignore, there are indeed individual who simply play for fun, after all it’s just a game.
Just remember it’s commonly the Solo Player who have enough free time to gather resources and leave the Auction House filled with Consumables such as food and Elixir, and Trade Goods such as Herbs and Metal, if the solo players gets bored or simply too annoyed from the most trivial of mobs killing their character over and over simply due to them only being poorly equipped they will indeed quite playing (This result in a lack of competition and a rise in price of most consumables and trade goods.)
To be honest am surprise most people are keeping silent about the Mythic raid Carries for Gold or Paypal Currency.
