real world translation. i want better gear than you, so stop making it easier so i can be leet
i can sneeze and pop out epics in wow…lol.
Ok,so a person time has no value, interesting assumption. So c,i.p.,a person doing content is doing worthless time value to the point that gear no matter is based solely on difficulty first.
You should be rewarded gear based on difficulty, not time. That is my point, I don’t care if it’s raids, pvp, m+ or solo content as long as it’s difficult. Repetition of a WQs over a 4 week span != difficulty.
You shouldn’t be rewarded for mindless play, participation trophies are bad for the game.
No matter how folks try to color what I said, it doesn’t change the fact that it’s just time gating WQs.
And it comes down to my basic statement:
Difficulty of WQs != Difficulty of Heroic raids/m+10/1800-2099 PvP.
Raiders miss master loot as well because that was a heaven sent system to scam other players. Lol they are still losing their minds over that.
They also miss that not enough players are kissing the loot council’s feet for gear or the Guild Leader’s for an invite.
The centerpiece of the game is still raiding though. Blizzard should be trying to figure out why more people don’t want to participate in raids.
People need to stop worrying about what everyone else has or is doing. It does not matter if raiding mythic gives the same ilvl as a vendor that sells items for gold. Do the content you want to do. If you are only raiding to try to be better than someone else I guess Blizzards design no longer matches up with your own design and you can accept that or move on.
Oh but you and everyone do care.It 's time you spent(work) you do to get the gear.To say people’s time is irrelevant is demeaning,if they do raid they take time,if they do world quests it takes time and playing the game takes time. And it takes time to get gear no matter the difficulty or ilvl.
You are more focus on difficulty than peoples time /values.So what if the WQ are time gated it’s the persons time. That 430 gear wouldn’t come over night unless you’re dev playing the game.Let people have their time/value choice.
I do enjoy the chase though lol but not when the chase feels meaningless where same ilvl gear can be rewarded from alot less difficult content
At this point this isn’t surprising. Chasing the different coloured carrots aren’t doing it for players anymore, so Blizz dumbs down the experience to make chasing those carrots more appealing when you get that new shiny piece of gear. It is a tired old trick that just isn’t working anymore.
Man i got to say the more you keep saying that nonstop"Stop Playing Victim"
the more i can’t wait for 8.2 to grind all that 430 gear soon your getting me hyped sir ty
didnt read thru the 1.3k replies but dafuq wat do they mean by they are afraid they make the wrong choice when they buy pvp gear? Just… Refund it within 2 hours if its wrong?
Some scores being requested just require the player to do +10s and up. So while they may be good in lower keys it means very little when a group is forming for upper keys
Sub 10 is pretty trivial compared to upper keys. I’m pretty low IO so I doubt I could get in their groups. I respect that though. Ilvl bloat through welfare was forced this system into existence
The irony here is legendary.
They also said that people had a hard time finding the vendor… right as they add in a titan residue vendor. But assuming that was all just bs aside, the fact that the developer of an RPG is worried about player choice because they might make the wrong choice is very telling and concerning for the future of the game. Not saying they should be let go or anything, but perhaps a different game might be more their speed.
" like your life depends on it."Um nobody thinks that here your reaching now.
So they have a maze mentality for players to fellow ,so if the mouse doesn’t behave according to the pattern they ideally want they set blocks and tricks to fool us to the end result.
So correct me if I’m wrong but, if people who do raids solely to have higher level gear than those who don’t do raids, it seems that they should be doing WQs instead since they apparently don’t do the raids because they like doing them and want better gear to progress in them more effectively.
Maybe I’m just not getting the mind set of these threads but it comes across as though the people doing the complaining are only upset that someone who doesn’t do what they perceive as “difficult” is having fun doing something they perceive as “mindless”. Is it just that they are upset that the people who they think are jealous of their glorious gear (and most of us don’t even know what gear they have on) can get something like it, or is this just a method of throwing the “mindless” shade at those they feel are beneath them?
I have never seen a problem as, if they are only interested in raiding (because WQs are so “mindless” they can’t be bothered) why would they even have opportunity to know what other players are wearing unless they purposefully go out of their way to find something to feel superior about?
If it’s because the issue is they fear WQs players are trying to sneak into their raids, I’m sure they can look into raid progression to see where they got the gear. This is all just a vanity thing. People who think they are special only if they can have something better than someone else they feel are beneath them. Sorry but it all feels very petty and immature to me.
Your whole entire point falls apart as soon as you look at average item level.
If thats their idea i dont think calling a long hallway a ‘maze’ makes everything better. They also can’t be paranoid about people failing or making mistakes, especially in the RPG part of the game. They seem to increase difficulties in the action part, but when looking at the core game its been pruned/streamlined for easy understanding/designing and I dont know if the audience that leaves the game with will be enough to justify the continued work put into the game. The systems I see being put in sort of indicate that they plan on putting the game on a skeleton crew, either intentionally or not. But if sub trends are anything to follow, anytime they do try to prune/streamline subs trend down. We don’t have numbers for Legion or BfA, but due to player perception (aside from people claiming they dont see anything yet ignore 3rd party communities) and looking at how Blizzard has been reacting it kind of falls in line with that trend.
Yup, isn’t it hilarious.
How so?? Just because I do tougher content? That’s like saying your’s falls apart because you do easier content, but hey 95% of your posts are moot so whatever
Average ilevel doesn’t matter, the fact that you can acquire pieces of the same ilevel from mindless content like time gated WQs as a heroic raid is ridiculous.
I also think it’s hilarious that folks on here believe just because they pay $15 a month, they deserve gear it’s like you’re asking for the game to be p2w.
