Stop rewarding the 1%

Sigh.

Ok. And this is why this feedback is useless.

Dev 1 " The people are saying they dont get enough cool mounts in easier content"

Dev 2 " What sorta mount do they wish they had?"

Dev 1 " I dunno. They just said -cool-"

Dev 2 " What makes a mount cool or not?

Dev 1 " I dunno. They wont say"

Dev 2 “What should we do?”

Dev 1 shrugs

and that was a slim slim % of the population that pushed for that, it was not turning entire raid tuning to it, or centering entire expantions worth of content around needlessly grinding high level keys or higher level raids, because the gear carrot on a stick kept moving.

The addition of Mythic raid, mythic + and the asinine conquest gearing system has been crap for the game. It would be better off removed or limited in scope as of what it is now. Dont really care what others think about that, dont care if wow lost half its population because of it.

This is a great reply that really strikes at the heart of the issue.

“I am selfish, everything should be about me”

I never said this. Get a clue.

If the feedback is “recolored/reskin mounts are not interesting”, then I would say that it’s indicative that they need to stop making recolored/reskinned mounts. Maybe the issue isn’t the feedback but that Blizzard is incapable of parsing through the feedback and critically analyzing the problem.

Yes, and i really dont care lol.

I want wow to go back to what it was. a fun mmoRPG that did not focus or cater to high end raider, sweaty PVP metas, and chasing the M+ carrot.

I want taht wow back and i dont care who leaves the game because of it.

But recoloring and reskining mounts is literally what they do for the content people are currently complaining about. Did you see the glad mounts being complained about? All recolors of a singular model.

And there are a TON of unique mounts that have been made available for open world/easier content.

You want a WoW that never existed.

no it existed pretty well in Classic through wrath was quite fun to
Could have a very good time in the game with out stepping foot into a raid or high end content.

Definitely right. Even from the beginning you had things like Naxx that only the highest level raiders saw and things like the GM/HWL grind that only the sweatiest PvPers ever achieved, so bad that most people just turned to accountsharing.

I grinded out KSM by pugging in the LFG tool, your entire argument is invalid, if you want it, earn it.

I have NO PROBLEM with there being rewards that give players something to aspire to, it’s actually a HEALTHY PART OF EVERY GAME.

Only in WoW do you have idiots who believe they deserve everything simply for playing the game, it’s pathetic.

Every FPS shooter has exclusive skins for the top players, every MMO has rare items for people who go the extra mile, every competitive sport has a trophy for the team that wins the league, the fact people here are complaining that they aren’t also given a trophy for existing is actually pathetic and blows my mind.

That time period was definitely a huge period for raiding and the like.

I dont want free gear, im fine with the hardest gear being locked behind raids.

I have a problem with the game being turned into a sweaty grind fest about pushing assinine level of keys in order to make your magic number go up bigger.

I have a problem doing the exact same content over and over and over again just to get the same item for a bigger
number

Except they are. Considering that there are certain titles and mounts that you can only get through achievements. But please. Keep going. This is entertaining.

Nope. They are mounts and titles.

Achievements are literally just the text of the UI in the achievement windows.

Achievement rewards are not achievements.

It’s literally in the OP. The OP wants the glad mount yet doesn’t pvp.

The best looking gear usually comes from higher end play. Want it then go get it.

Then OP is stupid flat out. Having difficult things be rewarded is fine.

Having the game shoe horn you into sweaty try hard content like high end pvp, high key pushing, and high level raiding because there is basically nothing else to do and you end up on a hampster wheel of chasing higher numbers for an entire expantion is not good.

I think you mean solo because casual players can earn the all the other awards.

People raid and arena casually.

Now you’re just being willfully obtuse again. Achievements are content. Get over it. If they truly weren’t, then you would have no issue with Blizz taking your mythic achievements and their rewards away. Because achievements aren’t content and don’t add anything, according to you.

No they aren’t. Achievements are awarded for completing content.

The achievement itself isn’t a content.

Whoa whoa.

Why did you have to say

If they are the same thing? Shouldn’t you have just called them all achievements?

What is sweaty try hard content? You say high keys, but like…you can max your character out by doing 15s. You can full clear mythic by raiding 8 hours a week. I do, and my alts have been fully geared through 15 keys.

It just sounds like you’re starting to come to terms with the fact that you’re quite bad at the game, and it stings a little. The sweaty hard content that you’re talking about is actually really quite easy.
