Good lord yall getting spicy. Quite a few vacations In the future for some of you.

If the patient is seeking drugs, group homes absolutely pacify them by giving in to them. They control the dosage, but they give them what they want. In the end, it doesn’t matter what we want, it matters what works and keeps us paying Blizzard. What keeps me paying Blizzard is digital goodies. I am a big fan of digital goodies, and I imagine a lot of people are. The older people get, the less time they want to waste chasing after repetitive goals. It’s a lot of “been there, done that.” But if you want to retain their subscription, you’re going to have to keep them hooked somehow. What better way than reassessing how you reward players and figuring out how to better serve your actual demographic?

I would be happy if casual solo content only awarded low-level epics but all the cosmetic/transmog appearances you could get elsewhere, and all the pets and mounts. You can keep your high iLevels, I don’t care. But I want my axe to look cool like your axe, and I don’t want to join a group and use interrupts to get it.

If Blizzard can make that happen for me, my money is theirs. If they can’t, well, my money is still probably theirs - but some people’s might not be! So they should, like, think about that.

This isn’t accounting for those who haven’t achieved 50 wins, either. Also, these are the total number of glads across EU AND NA. The 1% of the top 1% of pvpers.

Want to have a fun pvp experience? Better play one of these two dps or this healer.

Can always play
Random BGs

Choose your RBG leader:

  • +40 year old, married man whose marriage is failing that plays with an open mic where you hear him constantly scream at his wife

  • 20 something year old who is hitting his blunt every time he dies and will go afk after the match ends for 20 minutes to, you guessed it, clean his blunt.

Projecting

Heresay. Move to dismiss your honor.

No, they absolutely do not. This game is already catered to them enough.

Yeah. Look at all that extra content they get.

They get a bonus phase sometimes to the last fight on a raid tier.

Its HORRIBLE

They get better rewards to work towards plus multiple achievements to work on that are there to provide extra objectives and challenges specifically for Mythic difficulty. And the borrowed power systems like what we got in Shadowlands? The outcome of those matter most to high-end players and are put in the game to give them something to play with.

There are people in this thread crying about casual players being entitled. But you guys are the most entitled people here.

Watch out, they might mass report your posts if you call the names like “entitled”.

An achievement is not “content”.

They get rewards? Guess what. There are fishing rewards. There are questing rewards. There are rewards for all forms of content. Why should there not be rewards for raiding?

Your argument seems to be that mythic raiders should get zero rewards or something equally silly.

Uh, yes it is? Because you need to work through content to earn them.

The rewards that high-end players get are usually the cooler ones. Why is this even an argument? Isn’t that what this entire thread is about?

No, my argument is that Mythic players don’t need any more love than what they are already getting. The game is already catered to high-end players. Leveling and casual, open-world content is usually treated as more of an afterthought compared to all the time Blizz invests in systems that have a higher impact on elite content like Mythic raiding, Mythic+, and rated PVP.

This is intentional so you buy a boost.

No. It is not “content”.

A zone is content.

A raid is content.

A dungeon is content.

Except “cooler ones” is subjective.

This statement is only true if you are going to twist words, and be intentionally ignorant.

It’s not twisting words at all considering that it’s what I said in my original post. The other poster said that Mythic raiders “should get more love.” And I said they shouldn’t. Because they already have enough.

You’re being willfully obtuse and pulling out extremely bad arguments. Achievements are not content? Lol, okay.

I have never once ever seen anyone consider achievements as “content”.

If this is your sincere opinion, I will just move on.

I’m glad that your perception of what is and isn’t content is what the rest of the world agrees with.

I am sorry you think getting an achievement is “content”.

Thank you for clarifying that if you were to receive more achievements for things you already did, you’d be happy. Cause thats content.

CONGRATS. YOU MADE IT TO ORIBOS. Achievement!

Congrats! You took the portal to ZM! Achievement.

Congrats! You found the repair guy in Haven! Achievement.

Look at all this content Blizzard is ignoring for the open world playerbase.
