Stop Listening to Ex Employees

I am challenging you, sir, to a duel!

But people are. You should find the Lore thread.

The responses in there do just that. Plenty are bringing up people who have left and using them as shining examples. Do a search on Youtube about Activision/Blizzard right now as well you will see plenty of it.

Yeah it’s my French brain on the title, it could have been better.

Sharing a tale of abuse on Twitter is now ‘grandstanding’, lmao.

The irony is Blizzard (at least used to) showed a video to new employees about “dextification” and not to do it, but people on the forums are hilariously willing to do it for them.

For context I’m also an ex-employee, but that was a very long time ago. I actually worked on a tool made in VB that would copy info from GM Tool and the email template program and throw it into Sonda to send it to customers. Now that I think about it, they also had me write a guide regarding how to get positive feedback… I wonder if that’s still around? Hmm.

When it’s not your tale to share? When you watched it all happen and did nothing?

Yeah grandstanding.

LOL the state of california. Thats a real reliable non biased source. Sorry but this isnt systemic nor is it more than maybe 2-3 bad actors if that. Its all hype to win the lawsuit lotto and to get money from yet another business in california.
What they gonna say when Blizzard leaves California?
Having pages of what someone says means nothing. Again wait for the real tangible evidence to show up. A disgruntled former employ isnt a reliable source without evidence to back up the claim and multiple disgruntled people means nothing. Its just words without evidence.
People will jump on the train if they smell a huge payout no matter the truth.
If you choose to believe just an accusation without proof then you are deceived. I want real evidence to be shown and it will if it makes it to court.
Not that it will because its cheaper to pay off the extortion that to pay legal fees in a trial.

Or not. Welcome to opinions, yours isn’t automatically the correct one.

I feel this is odd to state, given some of the sentiment is that the claimants should have said something and called out the issues they experienced, but now shouldn’t state anything. If they truly are the victims and recipients of these issues, they shouldn’t have to wait their turn to speak out.

I can empathize with you in that it may seem like just frustrated venting. But we also need to be able to evaluate - individually - how compelling their venting is. You are right to voice your own frustrations, regardless of how I may perceive them.

I read the thread, though haven’t read any replies in the past several hours admittedly, ,and didn’t see it as a defense of Morhaime. Him making a statement now does not absolve him, but at the same time Lore saying “this is BS” doesn’t absolve Blizzard. They are all (potentially) equally guilty.

People leave companies all the time for different reasons. More salary, retire. Spend time with family, etc… Other been 10 years doing the same thing and want to explore other things.

Leaving a company doesn’t mean anything, is not they did wrong.

How many jobs you had in the last 10 years?

They are, and should all be held accountable.

Even the ones who did nothing and stood by.

what a relief those toxic clowns are gone?

It feels like you’re so close to understanding why so many victims don’t come forward, but stop just short.

The ones in executive positions yes.

Nah they dont come forward cause nothing happened. Its too easy to gather proof these days but nah let me just say it and its a fact. Sorry but it takes proof not just accusatiopns.

Uh huh thats what they will say… Losing all that tax revenue will hurt them but they can always just borrow more money right? …

No, they don’t come forward because idiots like you will scream “THERE IS NO PROOF!” if it doesn’t included a video of someone admitting they did it, and probably not even then.

I do hope it goes to court. Not settlement; court. Because hopefully then the truth will come out. Some people are getting emotional about this (understandable to an extent), but the law has to be objective. Nobody knows what actually happened, and when politics and narratives get entangled in all of it, then the truth gets lost in the mix…

The taxes Blizzard gets tax breaks for and doesn’t pay? Please go on.

You really believe that the state didn’t take Blizzard leaving California into consideration before they decided to file a lawsuit against them after a two year investigation? I can’t even with this one. :joy:

You lose. Resorted to name calling. Reported.
