True, but just because you want to play barbies and sit in your home all day doesn’t mean the whole gameneeds to revolve around you.
And yet a ton of people spend a ton of money on housing stuff for those other games.
WoW is missing out on revenue. Gotta keep up with the competition or lose $$$.

Literally the second sentence in my post - I even bolded the “10 years old” part for ease of reading if that helps: Most other MMOs are about 10 years old or younger.
The operative word there is “about”. Yes, some are older. And none of that means a thing in regards to WoW because it’s an engine issue.
A two-second Google search reveals this:

You realize that you can do housing AND do other things, right? Which is -why- it’s so popular in other MMOs

Almost every game I mentioned is older than 10 years with the exception of BDO though. You claim only MMOs 10 years or newer had it. I proved you wrong.
And yes, housing isn’t coming to WoW any time soon. Eventually, I think it will. Are you going to whine when it does?

Who said I don’t? I play ESO and LOTRO as well. I spend money in their cash shop, not this one.
They just keep moving goal posts. It boils down to “you can’t like what I don’t like”. That’s it and that’s all.

It’s not lying lol. XIV is not dead first of all, ESO nobody ever talks about. If you don’t like WOw and it doesn’t cater to you then play something else. Besides, such as we’re on the topic, if I’m not wrong, ESO is mainly more RP orientated than it is content wise. Same thing with FFXIV, there’s content to do but people mainly want to rp.
So, you want every game to be just like those games okay got it.

I wouldnt be. Blizzard caters to the biggest playerbase.
It would be a waste. If you want housing then go play games that offer housing.
Those games also have: raiding, dungeons, gear treadmill, guilds, banks, etc. Doesn’t that mean WoW is ALREADY just like those games? Except missing a popular feature in MMOs?

I believe the warband system is the foundation for a player housing system. There was a lot of foundational code that needs major overhauls, so it is something of a work in progress.
I am very sure they know how much money there is to be made on that as a feature announcement. I am sure they plan to capitalize on it.
Eh i wouldnt go that far, since biggest player base is casuals i dont see anything being catered to casuals
