AV is 40 v 40, that’s 80 players. A even bigger deal is whether there will be vanilla style, and much needed, cross realm bgs.

Some servers (pve ones for example) won’t have enough people queuing to even pop a AV.

A lot of servers did have issues with queue times before cross realm BG’s though.

Depends on the private server. Mostly the older, longer version, I’ve heard.

Can you imagine if we got the REALLY early version? I dont remember which patch, but the one where there were those elite boss patrols near some of the GYs? That was amazing. Tons of NPCs and people actually collected scraps and summoned the blood god etc.

They have no data previous to 1.12. As it was explained at Blizzcon, they manage to find a complete 1.12 folder. They don’t have the data for patches before that.

Assuming they can’t get anything useful from Nostalrius, they can look at the patch notes for what they did to AV in each patch up to 1.12, and do it in reverse.

No one has that actual data though. 1.12 is all they actually had.

Charge AAA sub price, Produce AAA work. There were multiple AV revisions during vanilla. If they are incapable of figuring out how to produce something from a decade ago, then fire them and hire back the competent ones who do.

Sorry, but the dog ate my homework is not an excuse I want to hear from a billion dollar company.

No, Omar stated that they found 1.12 and “a little bit before that”, a vague statement which could mean anything. All it tells me for absolute certain is that they decided on 1.12 because that’s what they wanted to go with.
