Seeing as that will be quite a while post launch, they would earn a hell of a lot of hatred from fans if they choose to hold off and string people along. That is the worst thing they could possibly do.
1.12 AV is fine.
1.6 AV is best. āFineā doesnāt cut the mustard.
The number of times I had to leave an AV battle to go farm mats to make more Thorium-Tipped Arrows for my hunter ā¦ and return to AV to find that the same battle was raging (hours or even days later)ā¦
Glorious timesā¦ 1.6>1.12
1.12 AV since #nochange
But if you want changes I can happily think of plenty besides changing AV.
Well, that is because you are a common troll, Zyrius. Feel free to post as many changes as you likeā¦elsewhere. There are likely very few forum visitors that are not well versed on your agenda at this point. Youāve made it absurdly easy to dismiss pretty much everything you post.
1.12 AV is not fine. The difference between AV as it was meant to be and the boss rush version it was nerfed into are night and day. One I will play for the sheer enjoyment of playing it, the other I will avoid like the plague.
That didnāt happen until reinforcements were added which was much later than 1.12. AV in 1.12 could easily last hours.
Agreed. Anyone who claims it did not become a rush until reinforcements is an outright liar or monumentally ignorant. Nerfing and removal of speed bumps unquestionably sped up the game, decreased the amount of actual meaningful PVP, and the tools inherent in the BG were less often needed/used.
Yeah, we know. Which is why few actually take what you post seriously.
Clearly you didnāt play 1.12 AV.
The thing is I did, hours long AVās were common. One or the other side deciding to defend was quite common and easily resulted in long games. It wasnāt until reinforcements were added that the lose quickly mentality became common place.
Hopefully whatever happens it can get tested in beta. Go from there.
1.12 was tested extensively during 1.12 in vanilla.
The 7.whatever engine was, for some mystifying reason, not tested during 1.12.
lol. So no beta testing? got it.
And what in the modern architecture do you think actually changes 1.12 AV?
I can think of at least two reasons thatās an irrelevant question, and I know you can also think of both of them, soā¦yāhave fun with that.
I give up, please explain why the architecture of modern servers will dramatically change how 1.12 AV worked.
