Can anyone confirm that a Starter Ed character, on reaching level cap of 20, still banks Xp which can be used on converting to a paid acct?
Last avail info with a Blizzard ID attached was from July 2018 .
I currently have a character that says on it’s XP bar, “buy the game and cash in for +2 levels”.
I can’t tell in any way if I am continuing to gain more potential ‘cash in for levels’.
Yup, experience banking is still a thing - you can bank up to 10 levels on a starter account, that you will receive when you add game time.
Any further levels earned after 10 will be lost.

Specifically, the experience is only banked on a license that hasn’t had game time on it in the past.

Aha, so if i want to screw around fighting 25 level mobs for a challenge… do all of that now before sending any $$
You won’t find any level 25 mobs with how scaling works in the game, now.

The majority of classic zones beyond the starter zones scale from 20-60. A couple, like wetlands and southern barrens scale from 25. Just stick to the zones with 20-60 scaling.
