It only gets updated when the night elves lose, Teldrassil, Ashenvale to show the horde having more control over it in Cata, Darkshore to be stuck in a back and forth with the horde over it. When was the last time there was a positive update of the zones for the night elves? Weāve seen them only change when itās time for the night elves to lose.

The zone is permanently stuck in a back and forth with the horde, you donāt learn about āwinningā it in game, you learned that from a question asked at a pay to view event. Itās something that will not be mentioned or reflected in game. The only time it seems you want world āupdatesā is when the night elves lose.

Gatekeeping is what keeps fandoms alive and sifts out the people who arenāt fans. If you donāt like it then by all means āwalk out of the mentalityā and pretend to be better than everyone else.
Your attitude is how people who only care about something on a surface level are able to infect itās fanbase and pervert it into something unrecognizable.
Because every OG Horde member knows the Forsaken should have been destroyed when we took out Arthas.

The night elves had full control over darkshore before the update, now they share control with the horde. Theyāve lost in this update.
It is sort of incorrect to say they confirmed 8.1 was the ārevenge patchā. Shani Edwards was the one who made the āTyrande got her Revengeā flub statement that forms the basis of this line of thought, and she has no say on story. In fact that is not even her department. she is a senior director of the art department so no idea why she even spoke up about something that was not her bailiwick.
Morgan Day, the other interviewee is an encounter designer and seemed to realize her arty counterpart had done gone and goofed as she tried real quick to reel things back in. Of course once the quip is made it cannot be unmade and that is all people seem to remember.

In Shadowlands, the Alliance gets to destroy Silvermoon so its unrecoverable and kill 99% of the BELF population with no payback and lets see how much bigger the outcry is.
You can have Valen blow up the Exodar as the Horde closes in to make it fair. Self destruct and all.
