Why would that matter? Its obvious no one in the Alliance wants to annihilate the Horde even though that’s what they should be doing.
We are more concerned in hurting their feelings apparently.
The horde at large doesn’t know that, though. Only Saurfang, who’s still MIA and we can’t assume he’s made contact with any other horde leaders yet.
What has the Alliance done that gives the Horde the idea that they are fighting for survival?
So far all the Alliance has done is defend their own territory. Try to recover from a genocide and blow up a fleet… oh right and kill some random troll.
I dont see the Alliance genociding anybody. Do you?
Again, that was three people. Not the entire Alliance. Tyrande and Rogers would have different things to say.
And rightfully so after what the Horde did…
You do understand that the Horde is not privy to that information right? You do understand that unlike Players, NPCs can not rely on Meta-Knowledge to make choices or move in certain ways within a story? They act on the information that THEY have at the their disposal (and the intent and discussions held within an Alliance War Council is NOT something they would have access to).
You’re essentially expecting the Horde Leadership to act on information THEY DO NOT HAVE; right after a major military incursion into Zandalar.
See that’s the problem with being horde right now. I keep getting dragged into villain bat beating sessions when I am supposed to be an awesome barbarian super hero.
looks at Teldrassil
looks at Zuldazar
looks at Vulpera
Alright lets look at Alliance military action.
Did the Alliance reduce all of Dazaralor to ashes and destroy the cities entire population?
No…?
So what has the Alliance done so far that indicates to the Horde that this time the Alliance is coming to kill them all.
I don’t think it matters what the alliance has really done. As far as most of the leaders know, there’s still Varian’s SoO sentiment of the alliance ending the horde if they act without honor again. And Sylvanas deliberately committed an atrocity so that everyone would justifiably believe there’s no hope of reconciliation ever again.
Thank you for negating your own statement.
I dont see Tyrande in Durotar moon beamings Horde civilians.
Do you?
And that makes it justified?
This just supports what I said earlier, you don’t care at all about Teldrassil. You like that it happened because know you can do whatever you want to the Horde and their allies and try to justify it.
No, because she hasn’t gotten that far yet. They only recently liberated Darkshore. There’s still Ashenvale and either Azshara or the Barrens to cross first.
So in your mind Tyrande should forgive the Horde?
Wait in Ashenvale so the Horde could roll through it for a third time?
We don’t know where Tyrande is.
… Tyrandae wasn’t involved in the BoD so I’m not sure what this comment has to do with anything.
The Alliance didn’t have the firepower to do either of those things. Dazal’alor is a city stronghold made of stone and metal, you cannot burn a city made of stone and metal. There was evidence of the killing of civilians in the attack on Dazal’alor, but even if the Alliance wanted to really cause a travesty on the level of Teldrassil, they couldn’t (other than relying on Gnome-tech, and Gelbin wont have that).
Its framed VERY clearly that the Alliance did not have the manpower to maintain an occupation of the Zandalari capital, hence the reason for the suicide squad incursion to the North to draw the primary Zandalari and Horde forces away. In a way, the Alliance pulled the same stunt against the Horde, as the Horde used to draw away the bulk of the Kal’dorei forces away from Darnassus.
No atrocity could be committed, because there wasn’t an opportunity. It was always planned as a hit and run raid; get-in, get-out, go. Nothing more.
I am not sure where you though I am restricting the conversation to just BoD.
Fact is the Alliance so far has not acted in any genocidal manner towards the Horde besides hilariously attacking the Vulperans for some obscure reason or wasting incredible amounts of manpower and casualties just to kill Rastabro just so the Horde could have the Zandalari.
All in all its pretty pathetic the Horde player base are excusing fighting for Sylvanas for head canoning some atrocities to equate it to teldrassil.
… because you specifically mentioned BoD.
Attacking a city is an atrocity. It was not at teldrassil’s level but it was still horrible and it happened. Just because it didn’t happen to your side doesn’t make it okay.
