/spit is a negative emote often used by toxic players

Tbh, I think it helps develop faction rivalry, which is a good thing

Just remove any form of communication, no emotes, no chat, nothing. That way nobody can possibly be “toxic”

isn’t this a fun game?

Spoken like a true boomer.

Wrong. It’s actually just wrong, no cap, no meme. It’s just outright wrong. I know for fact that you are directly referencing the boot camp stress card, which was a lie from the start. It never existed, but it did work in convincing a bunch of old men that it’s real, and it worked in proving that you can convince anyone of a lie, no matter how ridiculous, as long as that lie plays into their little scuffed narrative.

Stay mad old man, seethe for me.

Not old, 34, and I have a friend who re enlisted after getting out in 2009, he re enlisted in 2018, and was quite blunt on his thoughts of the people in basic, and afterwards. Yes they do have the stress cards, everyone was issued on his 2nd time in basic because it had been 9 years he had to redo it, and yes they all got little timeout cards they could use, they where also allowed to keep their cell phones. As he put it I wouldn’t trust any of the guys in was in basic to watch my back, I’m not sure I’d trust them to watch the motor pool stateside. Those are his words.

And as somone who is millennial by birth I see it all the time, there is no grit or determination in people my age or younger. It’s not up for debate it’s a fact. When my generation faces adversity they blame someone else for it, they never take responsibility for anything.

Having had a conversation or two in my day, it would be weird, if, after 160 remarks, the conversation hadn’t gone anywhere at all.

Isn’t this thread supposed to have hit “literally hitler” by now?

More like Spitler.

They took /spit out, but left the /moan, in what world does that make sense?
Why don’t they ban the N-word?

In what positive or neutral scenario does smashing someone’s head in with a mace because of their race serve a purpose in game?

Look, there’s two options here. The person you quoted is a troll, and you’re wasting your time. Or they’re not a troll, and you’re wasting your time talking to an irrational person, because getting offended over an emote in a video game is utterly irrational.

And yet those are the people Blizz are trying to appease. And Blizz will learn yet again you can’t appease irrational people. Once spit is banned, people use a different emote and that gets banned because crybabies get offended. Now people use yet another remote and that’ll get banned. And what point does Blizz actually see the real issue and the real problem? Probably never.

This is the hilarious thing about all the idiot new terms flying around…just reinventing ways of speaking, but it doesn’t change the underlying meaning. It’s just shifting perfectly useful words into obsolescence, while getting nowhere.

“birthing person” instead of “mother”…rofl…great, they’ve made the thing everyone means in their head require 4 syllables instead of 2. “Progress”

and yet you have other factions able to call you losers or other words i probably can’t say on this but you know blizzard seems to be fine with that.

if it isn’t /spit it’s going to be something else. Next thing you know they will take /fart out of the game because it doesn’t have a ‘positive or neutral purpose in game’ when people use it in place of /spit.

Sure.

Then he lied. The myth started with a blue mental health card the Navy used in the 90s to help combat mental health issues.

I also heard that the Air Force was trying out cell phones in 2018, but only for weekend use, but even then that was supposedly overblown, as it’s real purpose was that it made it easier for them to have a phone for after graduation in order to easily get in contact with family, as well as family contact on the scheduled phone call days.

I know during Covid the Army allowed phones as it complied more with CDC guidelines instead of having tons of young men and women cradle pay phones one after another. The Army is also still undergoing massive changes due to big Army wanting reforms.

Irrelevant

So you see all hundreds of millions of people? All day every day? Pretty impressive. Wait no, you just mean you only have anecdotal evidence that you choose to pay attention to within your small bubble and just want to grossly generalize millions of people based off of your scuffed perception? Got it.

See Above.

Generic boomer rhetoric, stay mad and seethe.

You really just swallowed that propaganda whole and never questioned it even once, huh?

The reason /spit is in the game was for opposite Factions (Alliance and Horde) to display their disdain for one another.

Since neither side can understand each other verbally it was the only way to express hate for the enemy aside from other emotes.

Over time the elitist and hateful player base decided to use it to further their expression due to lack of Common courtesy, Friendliness and Fun but driven by Anonymity.

I was thinking the same thing.

Nekogirl everyone knows your title was BAN ALL PLAYERS USE /SPIT

No not antidotal, lets see occupy wallstreet is a great example of whats wrong with my generation, no accountability, the entire thing was a complain fest about how unfair it is they can’t buy a house, but my guess is your a zoomer, and that makes you even worse than the average millennial

Do you have any statistical proof of this being the case? Shouldn’t take too long to google and find out if it’s truly fact.

Holy ignorant batman!
