People that were /spit were in essence weren’t attacking the player but the action committed was distasteful… to give in to one of the ugliest mounts I’ve ever seen to supply corporate greed to CLEARLY a company that would do anything to destroy 1000 employees to maintain complete DOMINANCE.
STOP letting narratives change the subject.

We need to remove all weapons from the game - there’s no need for it. You can achieve every game objective by replacing weapon strikes with rainbow beams and having players and bosses have hatred and bigotry points instead of health and armor and when hatred is reduced to zero they fall over in love and ecstasy.
Rather than gear grades - items can have diversity points. You’re gear score won’t rise - instead you get more inclusivity score.
We can rename the game to something less offensive than burning crusade - ‘crusade’ has negative connotations for some.
We can call it:

Funny thing is - I never used to /spit - but since Bliz chose to make a token of it I’ve macroed it to Execute. Others have started doing similar too - it’s pretty amusing. There’s spit flying around everywhere in BGs and arenas!

The game back then was a different competition, compared to now. The hardcore players nowadays have more respect to a degree. I’m not saying there aren’t toxic players. Far as the emote goes, I only used it a few times in random BGs. That said, I never really cared about it all that much and I think its a good idea that it was removed. It was an oddball emote.
Removing /spit is dumb and bad, anyone who thinks otherwise is dumb and bad.
I was about 12 or 13(perhaps younger, can’t remember) when BC was out. I was spitting on the enemy faction then, and I’m 27 now and still do. I don’t think it’s an age thing more than it is an rp thing guys…
