Promotions are okay when you’re trying to get customers to buy a product. When they aren’t currently paying for your product. I’m already subbed and paying a box price.

It’s a game company. Any company’s goal is to make money. Sub-free or not, they need to be kept afloat in some way; not saying Blizzard is in any way about to sink though.
No matter how any company will EVER word it, they want your money.

Blizzard used to be able to get people to pay subs by releasing a quality product but instead they have to entrap players to play their delayed game and people are still valiantly defending them.

You can get lucky on the AH for a few of the costumes for each class. That’s how I got my Hashashin gear. I bought the awakening set for my Guardian, though. $20 minimum, if you have 200 extra pearls.
The quest was a guess from datamined info. They still are not sure if it were meant to be a quest or something offered for Blizzcon. Which would have originally happened today according to Wowhead.
They usually do have at least one or two secret finders missions, so that could be planned for something else.
A mission for the mog would have been nice but that was a guess, not confirmed.
Mogs have been on the store before.
No you prove they have ever given a widespread armor like this.
There’s a big difference. If it was in game on a vendor I’d have it.
- Make it a reward for being consecutively subbed for 6 months, not having to commit to possibly nothing.
- Make it an actual in game mog.
- Give us class sets back or at least more in game mogs so this crap isn’t coming at the expense of in game rewards.
Why would you have it if it was on a vendor, but not now?
Lets say hypothetically, they put it on a vendor for like. 300k.
Honest question: If you have the gold to buy it from a vendor (since you did not specify a cost), how is that different from buying tokens with gold for bnet balance and buying it?
It’s about half the price of some of the vendor things in BfA/Legion.

And if they didn’t delay, and everything was a mess, people would complain about that. They went back to Soon instead of release dates. Omg Blizz has changed so much!
Eh if they put it on a vendor for 300k I might not have it then. If they put it on an in-game vendor as a reward for doing darkmoon faire and collecting 300 tokens I would. Big difference.
Secondly. For me to be able to buy tokens, people have to be spending money on tokens. Either way it’s not free and blizzard is bringing home extra money, at the expense of actual in game content. That’s the issue.
