Plenty of other items are on a vendor for 300k or more that are aesthetic only.
Its definitely free for the person purchasing the item, to use in game gold.
A vendor you walk up to buy something from…isn’t “in game content” that actually effects anything.
Except it involves tokens which involves buying with real money and blizzards true incentive for monetizing it this way. It’s not the same as an in game mog. No way around it.
Ok, then buy it if you want it. What does it matter if it’s limited time to you.
Blizzard is a business and until they put gameplay enhancements in the store I have no issues with it. Warcraft is their game. If they decide next week that a lich king transmog goes up next… guess what? It does.
If you have a huge issue with it unsub. Maybe go create your own MMO. The community needs less toxic people.

Ok. Walk me through when I spend real life money.
I earn gold in game.
I purchase a token or two off the AH.
I convert token into bnet balance.
I purchase mog with bnet balance.
When did I spend any real life money?
Someone had to buy that token with real money. All at the expense of actual in game content. How is that okay with you?
Like this last tier literally had 4 mogs. The PvP and pve ones were identical. The cloth and plate looked virtually identical too.
Yet we get a money mog that has as much or more detail for money. The only ways it’s okay is as I suggested. As a reward for being subbed for 6 months. Not committing to 6 months of potentially nothing.
Once again. I said I can get it for free. You disagreed.
We already have what. 6 or so different mog options minimum coming in SL with the launch/raid released?

Real life money is exchanging hands. Free for you doesn’t mean it’s free for everybody.
