Except it involves tokens which involves buying with real money and blizzards true incentive for monetizing it this way. It’s not the same as an in game mog. No way around it.
Ok, then buy it if you want it. What does it matter if it’s limited time to you.
Blizzard is a business and until they put gameplay enhancements in the store I have no issues with it. Warcraft is their game. If they decide next week that a lich king transmog goes up next… guess what? It does.
If you have a huge issue with it unsub. Maybe go create your own MMO. The community needs less toxic people.
Calling everyone naive/shills and everything under the sun because you lack social skills and are unable to carry on in an adult conversation without insulting whoever you talk to, shouldn’t be the bar set for changing others minds with your opinion.
Someone had to buy that token with real money. All at the expense of actual in game content. How is that okay with you?
Like this last tier literally had 4 mogs. The PvP and pve ones were identical. The cloth and plate looked virtually identical too.
Yet we get a money mog that has as much or more detail for money. The only ways it’s okay is as I suggested. As a reward for being subbed for 6 months. Not committing to 6 months of potentially nothing.
My favorite part was where someone said they were going to post on reddit about microtransactions and they thought they were going to start some kind of gamer uprising or something. Just like they did with the whole Blitzchung thing- oh wait.
