Spire darter's transmog should have been in-game quest

The reason why these MMO’s didn’t even touch the amount of players WoW had speaks book parts.

They’re testing the waters. And how the community reacts to changes like this WILL determine the future of the store.

And since it seems there’s more people indifferent and positive about this addition to the store, they’ll do more.

Blizzard probably wants a shop comparable to ESO, crates, mounts, outfits, boosts, etc, etc. But they don’t want to force it right away.

They want to do a slow drip and gauge the community reaction.

Finally I see someone that actually sees it.

Bring it on. I’d buy it if it didn’t suck.

At this rate of drip, we will all be dead before they get where you are claiming they want to be.

That they have almost increased 4x the amount of store mounts we got in a single expansion is apparently a slow drip

Only difference between the WoW store and the ESO store is they don’t sell XP and endgame system boost. (Except in China.)

And thankfully, they haven’t adopted that god awful loot crate system. Yet, anyway.

I also got 3 epic rings, the headless horseman’s mount and the rapier for free over the years for logging in and doing the holiday dungeon. All for free!

You must be a whale then the shop has been in game for a long time now.

You really are going to make that comment while the game is bleeding subs? :skull:

Wow… see I literally did nothing more than log in. No queue for a dungeon or anything.
Well I guess I pay my sub.

Dude.

Again why not give it to anyone that has been subbed 6 months consecutively? It’s the same thing to you for being free is it not?

It’s not free. It’s all about that greed. Have to commit to something that could be bad.

They probably make more money on race changes than anything else.

Remember an account-wide tmog set is just once.

Changing your race every few months is money money money

Because it is available in game. And I’m not a dev; why would you think I would have these sorts of answers? I already provided you a way to obtain this set through in game means- gold grinding.

Are you so afraid of old content that you don’t want to bother grinding through them to get something good out of it? Old content that you have days and days worth of doing? Is any sort of effort that unnerving to you?

Or, or let’s not forget, the current content that we already have. You know, dailies and whatnot. Quests we already have that give you bags full of gold if you keep up the effort to complete them. You know?

We have been hearing “yet”, since 2008.

I wouldn’t hold my breath.

The game has been bleeding subs way before the store was added. The store being added made no difference in that.

In fact, this proves what a non issue this topic really is.

And spending not even five minutes to obtain these is pretty much - in my opinion the same of free and no time wasted.

I’m not mad. I’m posting about what I think should have happened with an in-game item they’re currently charging their fanbase for.

I still can’t comprehend why you think saying “WoW isn’t worse than these bad games less people play so It’s okay if they do bad things until less people play WoW”

It’s like you’re practically hoping WoW fails?

And there’s no evidence that it wasn’t, but let’s just defend Blizzard’s decision to charge us $20 for armor. Right.

So WoW is justified in charging for a sub, expansions almost every year, AND an in-game cash shop because you said so. Got it.

YEAH! Blizzard should become a worse game and I’m going to defend it because It’s not as bad as this other crappy game nobody likes!

It’s not that people disagree, It’s a handful of trolls from my last thread that came in, harassed, trolled, and mass reported the post 2x’s over, then when I got snappy and pointed out how they were wrong, offended and claimed I harassed them and was harassing everyone…

I’m literally saying it should have been a quest reward…why would I be outraged…? Like, what? Serious question, what kind of logic is this?

It’s a limited time promotion, eventually it will only be available for $20…I didn’t think I would have to spell everything out for everyone as It’s pretty common knowledge, but If you’d really like me to edit the post I will.

So you’re fine with derailing people’s threads? Wow, you’re REAL mature, aren’t you?
What am I saying, you told a bunch of your friends to mass report my stuff, called me a stalker because I proved you wrong, said I harassed you after you spent literally a whole day harassing me, of course you are.

Look, a potato!

We’ll see. The industry landscape is changing, not just for Blizzard.

And there are enough consumer loyalist to support any monetary system their favorite company puts out.
