Twitch dropping already existing items is legit awful.
i want the damn rooster already lol
My take on this exactly. Seeing the rage on reddit and the forums would be peak cinema.
As someone who put in the effort to get 36/36 MT skins as well as a few other “exclusive” or “limited time” things, I’m fine with giving everything away through various means. Whether that’s old raid/dungeon farming, crafting, trading post, etc; hopefully something in game, but twitch drops aren’t the WORST thing ever.
I haven’t valued exclusivity on things since BC honestly. It’s a game and while things do hold sentimental and nostalgic value to people, it’s still just some bits of data that can be wiped and/or shut down on a moment’s notice.
When they added it as a ptr mount I fell in love with it. Only excuse for Blizzard not to release it again is cause it’s large, black, and could be called a word that rhymes with rock.
They stripped the game of all innuendos and they might worry it will get flagged as one.
Nah, stay away from my spectral tiger.
I’m not
Blizzard is in the business of selling things twice, not me
I just don’t care anymore
That sounds very much like a “you” problem.
To be perfectly honest, I was neutral about the idea of bringing them to the Trading Post, but your argument has made me change my mind. Now I think they should definitely be on the TP, and be the end reward for filling out the bar so people don’t even have to spend tender on them.
I would say, a recolor would be acceptable, just not the ORIGINAL, which should remain for folks who got it back in the day.
Go ahead and re add it who cares. Besides seeing dumb whales get mad is funny.
No. How is that my problem? I don’t have a problem here. You’re the one asking to get stuff for free that other people bought. And you lie and say that you were neutral on it until you read my post. Get out of here. Okay. I agree. it should go to trading post. AFTER every WoW player who has bought ANYTHING from TCG gets a refund for every TCG item that they have ever bought ever. So in other words, Blizz would have to fork over a few million dollars to the players.
If any of you actually wanted it this bad then you would have bought it already. It has been out for well over a decade now, almost two.
Blizzard does not own anything TCG anymore. They sold the rights to Cryptozoic Entertainment.
Or you could just buy it online if you want it that bad. Another one just got listed right now for $7,995. That is just the code. To get the card it is 9,999.
Was this supposed to respond to me? I honestly don’t care one way or the other about it. I just love to see the world burn occasionally.
Let not forget scalpers that in Ebay ooh lord prices. By the way did they discounte the code site?
Following this logic why don’t blizaard just give every transmog and mount to every player for free???
99% of the players who want it only want it because it’s ‘cool/prestegious/old/rare’. The 1% of players who genienly want it is the most MINOR of minorities. Newer mounts have much higher visuals and can fly.
The moment blizzard hand it out they will buy it and wow over it for an hour max. Then they shove it in their collection of 500-1000 and never see it again. Just like how probably 80% of the players currently active played have heavenly onyx cloud serpent but for some reason I’m seeing it less in open world than back when it was a 1 in 3000 drop rate. Just like how if you print money money deflates in value, rare cool mounts instantly becomes lame the moment everyone gets it.
You’re the one who spent thousands of real dollars on virtual mounts and are upset that people are even talking about it coming back to the game. Blizzard wasn’t selling those mounts for that money. After market scalpers were. So you don’t get any refunds from Blizzard (but if you can find the seller you gave your money to, you could ask THEM for a refund).
Where did I say I was in favor of trading card items being on the TP prior to your post? Please quote.
Absolutely nobody cares about your mount that you paid IRL money for having exclusivity.
Exclusivity should only come from in-game accomplishments.
And here we go with this discussion again…
it was $900 in 2007 and I was like nah… now it’s like $15k. I still am nah.
Agree but with a caveat.
As an owner of the Spectral Tiger I honestly wouldnt mind if they updated the model and added a recolor to the TP. Just as long as they leave the Original and how its acquired alone.
