This is why I don’t trust them when they give non-committal answers like “future patch” anymore, they are notoriously bad at following through on this kind of stuff.
That’s the same line we are hearing about regular flying in Dragonflight right now and I don’t like it.
Nah its not bugg, Blizzard loves to create one expansion stuff. They think that FOMO mentality will lure more players,
Worst thing we can do is go quiet on this again.
Hey Community Council, wouldn’t this be a great thing to bring up? How transmogs are removed with no warning, then supposedly will be introduced in a future patch and then years go by with nothing but crickets?
Remember all of the white knights who joined in telling everyone the only thing that would change was numbers?
Transmog is content.
Looks like this stuff is in the same place as my heritage armor.
How far in the future?
It’s almost two years at this point.
when blizz fly
I think Goblins, Worgen, and Pandaren still start with their original starting gear. I’m hoping that their starting gear will become available for transmog for or before Dragonflight.
They do need to make all of the old starting gear for the other races available on vendors and eventually add them and the new starting gear as new transmog appearances.
Also, they need to fix WoD crafting gear appearances not being able to be collected.
Nothing that Blizzard does with regard to crafting professions would surprise me. They apparently have some grandiose ideas for Dragonflapping but I’m hanging on to the half a glass of pessimism because I’ll probably need it.
Uh Heritage armor, Is that still a thing?
June 2022 and still nothing
Does this include the truesteel shield or w/e
I could only make rank 1 but want r3 for mog
Still waiting, I think.
All upgradeable crafted gear in wod was affected by this change. What is needed is to restore the items for upgrading and make them change only the appearances. So crafters would be able to make and sell them as previously.
Wrong month, it’s July
@Kaivax how goes this?
Apparently “future patch” means “years later and we’ll still ignore it.”
Getting close to 2 years later and a new expansion on the horizon and Blizz still hasn’t said anything beyond this original post to my knowledge, really acting quickly there aren’t you.
