Belluar made a video in Shadowlands saying “I will never do content videos for WoW again this game is so bad goodbye lul”
And then at DF launch he makes another video and is like "this expansion is so great wow!!! " And acts like WoW is so great
Then followed a next week video “is this game dying??”
He’s click bait and should be disregarded as a pathetic YouTuber
I don’t really think that can, in any way, be accurately extrapolated into actual sub numbers.

It cannot. But it will tell you who is logging (everyone does it) when they are counting active raiders season over season.
As I said, known caveats. All statistics come with a horde of small print that describe what they are and are not good for. They are not good for actual subs. They are good for active participants season over season. That’s about it.

And during the lawsuits, I saw lot of others made it known they’d never review or involve themselves with WoW.
Then a year later, they’re back making videos. They love to make hype, predictions, and sensationalist content.
I just avoid them as much as I can. I play the game and make my own decisions.

Wtf? All I said is he made an estimate and then you attacked his character even though it has nothing to do with the discussion. Im not even a Ballular fan i just know he does sub estimates and he bases it on actual logs. You cant just disregard evidence just because you dislike someone.

Out of curiosity, who did you contact? I contacted Blizzard support directly, and they told me to just use the flag feature, which I had already done.
Agree with everything you said. Surprised not many seem to agree with you. I see rampant trolling or harassment almost every day I come here.
I don’t agree with that. I mean that might be true at certain low points but the game is certainly built around raiding at max level even now and that’s honestly something I’ve never liked about it. But that’s another discussion.
Reddit is not a good place for discussion. Anything that goes against the hivemind there is just downvoted and hidden.

No, it prevents bots and ads. I don’t know of any MMORPG where you can post in all of the forums without a sub. Not even Old Republic.
And no, someone who plays for an hour, decides to rage and comes here to scream is not what anyone wants.
