Some Problems With The Forums

They have always required a sub to post. Or at least since wrath, which coincidentally is when a lot of old fans quit. And so what? Maybe we need more complaints. Also, these arent people who “don’t even play the game.” They’re former customers. Imo if you have ever had a sub to WoW you should be able to post regardless of your current account status.

My understanding is there’s a place where people can make a review about their experiences with the game/company. But I don’t think it’s on these forums.

Hehe I got a little scolding/vacation for doing this once. I flagged a post that was vehemently against the TOS that I can’t say here (but it had something to do with a certain demographic of people offing themselves using a slur) and a few days later, it was still there. So I went in with an alt and flagged it one more time.

I got a big old scolding and I’m lucky I didn’t lose my TL3. Im still sort of salty about it. :skull:

There is a small box to give feedback when you cancel your sub but thats hardly the discussion that I believe needs to happen.

I thought it started when the forums changed to Discourse. What we need is less trolling not more by people who don’t even play. That’s why I support adding Battletags to the forums.

Nope its been that way for as long as i can remember. Its not people who dont even play. Its people who would play except for ‘thing’. Just make it so to post you have to had bought game time in the past. Random troll problem fixed.

Agree to disagree. No point in debating it since it’s extremely unlikely to change.

I agree to an extent. A timer in place wouldn’t be so bad. The time limit between flags could be adjustable, if they were dealing with too many false flags or spam flagging, they could extend it to however long they want.

Sub numbers say otherwise.

A very good thing.

You guys do know that you’re in the minority right? The vast majority of both current and former players do not like the game. The only reason it appears otherwise on the forums is because… ding ding ding! They cant say anything!

What Sub numbers… we have known that in YEARS.

No but we can extrapolate based on player activity. Regardless of how accurate that is, you’d be kidding yourself if you think sub numbers are anywhere near what they were even 2 years ago.

My guess would be higher than in Systemlands. By a lot or a little… :no_good_man:

Look up bellular. They regularly do a sub number estimation.

Its not.

Oh you listen to that dramaqueen that explains a lot. :man_facepalming:  His “estimation” is meaningless the only ones who have any accurate numbers is Blizzard.

While Bellular is a muck dweller of the fifth column, he is pulling partial numbers - he’s getting the logs of people that raid. Within the known errors of such a way, it’s consistent and it’s a fine way to count subs doing a specific activity.
