I don’t think they are intentionally trying to make tbc bad to move people into retail.
Why? Because they’re that incompetent now.
They have a lot of money and power, but all the talent left the building.
You forgot the percentage of us that hate thieving.
so if your character were to get deleted some day down the line, like for example if you were playing on a private server and that private server got shut down, you wouldnt have any problem with that?
blizzard is robbing its past developers of their hard work by releasing this stitched together mishandled “updated” form of “classic”

well im not one that likes my character data being deleted, which is why i pay blizzard to store my character data on their servers. and thats the same reason why 100% of their subscribers continue to pay them

yeah maybe. but like i said this is still the best shot we have at not having that happen. which backs up my point of it being the only reason anyone pays blizzard to play this game. if we went to go play on a private server it would get shut down. thats why nobody plays on them anymore. thats why everyone plays on blizzards official servers, because theres no point in playing the game unless your progress gets saved, or you find enjoyment in the novelty of the first few times playing the game, which is understandable, but not being able to keep your progress would make the game very boring very quickly.
and blizzard has every right to change it to suit their needs in 2021, which involve deceiving their playerbase and training them to not like vanilla, tbc, and wrath.

incorrect, it’s my responsibility to do what I wish with my money. if I’m pleased with the game I’ll sub and play it, if I’m not then I’ll go elsewhere. thinking for yourself isn’t rocket science

I was talking in guild chat about BC and mentioned that I might buy a boosted druid. Most of the people had no clue there would be a boost with BC. I had to explain it to them.

Even with all the warts I got about 4 months out of SL. I thought the pvp was fun, I got my KSM and AOTC and got a few characters to 60. However we are going on like year 5 of this terrible borrowed power/ chore game design and I just dont want to do it anymore.
So far 9.1 seems like more of the same, which is a shame because I really think SL had promise. My hope is that by the end of Sl they have to take a long hard look in the mirror and make some real changes going into the next expansion.
