yeah sucks, but i’d rather have you lose it all and everyone on the same page than this massive disparity for season 1.

Or just boost the honor to x10 rates again and allow everyone a chance to get on the same page. That in my opinion sounds like the easiest option for everyone.

Anyone who played TBC knows that capping honor took weeks to months and people did it in under 4 hours.

Up yours. I spent 40 hours or so grinding SINCE THE HOTFIX. That honor is mine. They will not take it from me.
And you know the best part? I’m at 66k in almost only AB weekend alone. Almost at that cap you say is “impossible” since the hotfix. If you kids spent half the time premading AB weekend as you do complaining about the “unfairness” you’d be at almost honor cap yourselves.
That’s the best part of all of this, imo. You’re complaining about this “unfair advantage” people have that you could’ve GRINDED OUT YOURSELVES SINCE THEN. Sure, it takes longer. Took me about 40 hours for this 66k. Took kids maybe 5 hours on Tuesday. I’m okay with it. I made my own luck.

Sorry homie, but yes, I’d rather you lose 100% of your honor so the TBC arena season 1 is balanced and fair. Why should you be able to essentially start the TBC season 1 while we are still in vanilla.
But a nice life lesson, you spent 40 hours grinding that gear…homie, that’s a full time job. lol I see why you value that gear/honor cuz at minimum wage it’s opportunity cost is $600. Daaaaaaaang.
$600 for Phase 2 epics, or if you saved your honor Season 1 blues.

Been playing forever, trust me, these little ripples impact the entire pvp player base for several seasons. You’ll feel, oh yes, you will feel it.

I’m retired now. 2020 and early 2021 were huge years for my stock and crypto portfolios. I’ve retired 10 years earlier than I had planned. I can play WoW 20 hours a day now, if I want to. And this weekend I have wanted to.

Stop projecting. I didn’t capitalise on the honour miscalculation and I don’t care that other people did. The same way I don’t care other people got rich on crypto and I didn’t.
Other people getting richer doesn’t make me poorer, and I don’t care to tear those people down.

in this game it actually does mean that. lol don’t be so naive.
I’m not saying honor earned after the exploit should be wiped, just honor stolen during the exploit.
But that is neither here nor there. What I want to know is if they will wipe the BG marks of honor.
We have a blue post saying it will not be wiped on June 1st. That in no way ensures that marks of honor will not be wiped prior to the start of season 1.
I’d like a blue to clarify. Because if they wipe marks, that would be seriously scummy.

But im starting to see it as you guys complaining are seeing it. We all pay the same price for this game. When it comes to opportunity, it should be the same for everyone. no matter how difficult or easy. time consuming or casual. We are all paying the same.
I don’t think they should do anything. Its minor in the long run, but yeah, i get the complaints, Blizz should be getting an earfull over this one.

You can be as obtuse as you want. But blizzard can easily see how much honor was earned during the exploit.
Incorrect. They cannot tell who earned what on 3:30am Wednesday vs. 4:15pm Thursday or who bought pieces with “stolen” (love the use of this word…) honor on Friday morning but half of that purchase was “stolen” and half of that purchase was “not stolen”. It’s a mess.
If they wanted to wipe honor they needed to do it the moment they found out about the bug. People have grinded too hard since the hotfix. If they plan on doing a wipe on June 1st they should’ve announced that with the prepatch so people don’t spend 40-80 hours capping honor for 70 that they won’t get to keep.
They didn’t do a wipe fast enough.
They’ve made no announcement about a June 1st honor wipe.
Furthermore, you can still grind to 75k cap right now. Honor is pretty good. ~700 for an AB win. About 650 for an AV win without the weekend and next weekend is AV weekend. Put in the time and you can cap too. Sure, it’ll be 40 hours as opposed to 4 hours, but then you won’t be “disadvantaged”.
