You are deluded if you think blizzard cannot tell how much honor was stolen during the exploit. But you keep living that fantasy.
Theyâre going to take HALF of someoneâs HWL Cleaver because 14,000 of the 7,000 honor they spent on it was from Tuesday? Youâre deluded if you think that. What will they do, make it a green level 37 axe? Make it swing every 5.2sec instead of every 2.6sec?
INB4 you move the goalposts because I have proven that they canât cleanly take JUST the âbugged honorâ and you say something like âThatâs not what I mean!â lol
I never said they were going to. Learn to read. I said they can easily tell.
And they should remove all the exploited honor.
Again, how? Letâs say I got 14,000 honor on Tuesday and 7,000 after the hotfix on Wednesday. I bought 21,000 HWL Cleaver. How do they take back JUST the bugged honor?
Remove the axe, remove the 14k exploited honor. You keep the 7k you earned without exploiting.
You are being pedantic now dude. You know as well as everyone that blizzard can tell exactly how much was exploited.
And now I have no weapons? What if I vendored my green boosted one when I got the cleaver? Is Blizzard going to do an item restoration for me?
What if I earned 21,000 on Tuesday and 21,000 on Wednesday and bought a 14,000 honor item. Do they remove that item too? How do they know the 14,000 spent on it was from the âbuggedâ honor and not the âhotfixedâ honor if itâs from the same pool of 42,000? How do they decide what items to take and what items not to take? What is the solution for now half naked characters?
You really havenât thought this through.
Except they canât.
Who cares? They exploited.
Can always item restore your previous weapons.
You have not thought this through and now you are just doing the equivalent of talking to hear yourself talk.
Source: dude, trust me.
I donât think you understand how insane the space requirement would be to keep a running log of EVERY characterâs honor gains for even the last week.
Though the fact that you keep calling it âstolen honor from the exploitâ tells me youâve just got a vendetta and are trying to paint people who PvPâd on the first day as cheaters even though all they did was play the game normally.
They played the game. It wasnât an exploit. It wasnât cheating. It was a bug on Blizzardâs end. No one even knew it was wrong.
God youâre an inflammatory moron. The worst combo.
Cheaters and exploiters always try to justify their actions. Your childish name calling shows just what kind of mindset you have.
lol

Hello pot.
May I introduce you to kettle?
That phrase does not mean what you think it means.
If they wanted to wipe the âbuggedâ honor they needed to do it Wednesday morning. They didnât
If they wanted to wipe honor on June 1st they would have announced that before people spent an entire week hardcore grinding out cap. They havenât.
Weâre going into TBC with honor capped characters. Sucks if youâre not.
I will easily be honor and mark capped. But Iâm not deluded enough to think that blizzard might not wipe it all. Not on June 1st but definitely before season 1 starts.
But this is fine. Iâm totally fine with an honor wipe at the beginning of Season 1. That gives us 2-3 weeks to hit 70 and dump ~86k honor on epic belt, boots, bracers, neck, ring and cloak before the season starts. Then just regrind the 5/5 mainset in premades and boom, FULL PvP geared for the first week of S1.
I hope youâre right.
If they wipe honor on June 1st without any sort of warning or announcement, tens of thousands of people are going to lose their minds. Myself included. The longer they take to make this announcement, the longer they allow people to do 8-10 hour days of premades to honor cap their mains and alts, the worse the backlash is going to be if they do some kind of a wipe.
It also doesnât make a lick of sense for them to DOUBLE honor as a peace offering, AND re-arrange the BG weekend order (this weekend was supposed to be EOTS, they changed it to AB --> AV) if they are going to turn around and wipe all the honor anywayâŚ
Like⌠it actually doesnât logically follow.
Every sign currently points to no current retroactive or punitive action from the Tuesday bug and, if anything, honor might reset at the start of S1. But that would not be historic, as it didnât reset between seasons in actual TBC.
I distinctly remember hoarding my S1 arena points to buy almost full Merciless the first week S2 started to be T5 equivalent on like day 1.
