If the Deserter debuff is going to be made account-wide and if it affects more than just solo shuffle (e.g Battlegrounds as well), then please bring back the ability to blacklist certain BGs like we had in the past

Healing at the moment is just awful with the amount of CC and burst dmg from melee. I’m in matches at the moment where I barely have any time to react to the burst dmg.

Nope, I’ll wait 30 minutes, I simply won’t queue if I’m gonna get stuck in a 3v3 with a Prot warrior and a blood dk as the “healers”
If we’re going that route just enable 3dps vs 3dps.
Should there not be a reroute on how the queue system flags? If the system is receiving low healers joining the queue it could swap to making 3 dps teams. Then as healer numbers build it starts forming teams with healers.
As much as I say incentive rewards for healers is nice… I don’t enjoy the environment of playing with randoms in PvP. No amount of gold or bonus conq is going to make me deal with that when I can just go 2/3’s with friends.
Or just remove it. Game mode is awful. It’s just here so low skill players can feel better about themselves by having a massively inflated rating.
A good start would be to actually allow healers to gain rating. I’m sure you’ve seen the posts with healers going 6-0 and 5-1 for no gain or a loss.
The system is clearly awarding rating gains to dps and healers via different methods. As of 12-17-22 morning there is ONE PLAYER across any of the seven healing specs that is above 2400. Compare that to dps where there are 37 players above 2400 and some as high as 2600CR.
“But the healers have played fewer games” NO! The average games played of the top 5 resto druids is 190.2, while the average games played of the DH’s above 2400 is only 123.67
“But the dps win more” NO! The average win % of the DH’s above 2400 is 60.8% and the average win % of the top 5 resto druids is 71%
I used DH and Resto druid as examples because they are near the front of the alphabet, and the one healer above 2400 is a resto druid. Compare those win %s for other dps classes if you’d like. Ele shaman has two players above 2400 with only a 56.67% winrate.
My suspicion is that the system is looking at dps vs. other dps and healer vs. the one other healer. I also suspect it looks at each game played individually rather than a best of 6 series.
A suggestion would be to look at total average MMR, not segment out dps and healers, and to count the games as a series of 6 rather than one at a time.
Right now I don’t really feel like queuing on my healer because I’m presented with these games where I’m destined to either lose a small amount of rating or leave with 0 if I win all of the rounds. That can’t be the case if you want people to play.

Please no, I’d rather wait 20 minutes for a queue than get a tank game where everyone just smashes every button they have in a giant murderball with no skill involved and the round is over in 3 seconds. Nobody likes tank games.

It would help if the MMR system actually meant something. Most healers are probably tired of getting into games and literally not being able to gain rating. This happens to me every time I get above 1900. Two days now I haven’t gotten into but maybe 1 game where I could actually gain rating, winning 4 + rounds in most and even some games I won all 6 and still 0 rating. Why would we want to play this game mode for NOTHING except to lose rating. It’s stupid and broken.

A person rage quits, they were going to walk away from the game for a while based on the queue wait time already. Handing out a queue penalty to a leaver is like adding sugar to a cola soda or painting a white wall creme. Penalty to MMR, conquest, or something significant to their economy of play would be more impactful.
