You have to be “trusted” to include links. I agree, however, that they should hide the option from “untrustworthy” folks like us.
Simply remove the matchmaking feature from AB and WSG, because the presence of matchmaking is obviously having an adverse effect on the health of the gameplay present in those activities.
It would serve to address the problem of team balance discrepancies far better than doing nothing at all.
How can you complain, you have a bg that you can que solo and win 100% of the time.
?
You do realize there’s more Alliance on Heartseeker than Faerlina, right?
I’ll be the first to say AV is definitely atrocious.
Being forced to only do this BG is pretty lame though. I enjoy PvP a lot. It was the main reason I played back when I was like 17-18 during TBC. Right now its pretty hard to enjoy the PvP meta of farming honor per hour, or solo Qing and getting farmed. Thats what this post is pointing out.
The premades have begun to accept me.
Everyone respects the RP walk.

P.S. Solo Qs are still busted lol
Also if the server was dead you couldn’t get that much honor tbh
If you didn’t lead the ranking grind from the moment phase 2 launched, then PvP ranking is done for you. Say thank you to the honor curve on the way out.
It’s a good time to quit ranking, AQ40 will be out soon and the gap between that r12+ gear and raid gear will vanish. PvP ranking and the rewards was always a trash system; vanilla ranking/rewards has been the poster child for god awful game design for the past 15 years.
I’m just getting rank 8-10 gear in order to have a smooth switch from my main rogue to this warrior.
I also really love PvP. Here’s the thing. I have done premading and dont always have time to commit to a premade that generally requires a several hour play session. The fact I cant Q solo and enjoy a PUG feels bad Mr pokemon. A lot of people PvP just to PvP. It isnt always about ranking.
A minority are PvPing for the sake of PvP. It’s why queues are so broken and bgs have devolved into scouting a premade into a stomp. The majority of players are pouring effort and coordination into the honor farm at the expense of doing any real PvP. It all comes back to the honor curve. If there was a linear path to ranking, you wouldn’t see this many players obsessed with optimal honor/hour grinds.
The honor curve ruins the whole system. Then again, the obscene imbalance of power of r12+ gear also ruined the system. Like with anything, it’s fine for the players investing the most hours to obtain things first. What the honor curve does is extend that grind exponentially for anyone who plays less. Mix in honor botting/account sharing/stomp trading/etc, and anyone attempting to take a “legit” stab at ranking never had a chance. It’s the epitome of a bad PvP reward structure.
Any theoretically competitive structure that rewards time played over actual skill is a bad structure.

I can agree with this. My point is that the ranking system is especially bad due to the honor curve letting those longest playing individuals extend the grind for anyone behind them.
A minority are PvPing for the sake of PvP
See I dont think this is true. Just my opinion, but I feel like the majority of players are casual. It’s always been this way. I agree about the honor curve. Its a very busted system and yes the gear rewards attract the hardcore crowd.
See I think what we are seeing is premades are designed to farm PUGs very fast. Often times 6-10min games and they are right back in the Q. Where as when you solo Q and face a PUG the games are often 5x the length around or around 25-35mins.
When you premade you often times face multiple PUGs and a few premades. Where as when you solo Q you often face multiple premades and the occasional PUG.
I think the majority of players are still solo Qing although it they are doing it less and less due to this meta of farming PUGS. I’m hoping this kind of works itself out when AQ arrives due to the honor gear no longer being the absolute BiS, but I wouldnt mind a Change to Qs that would make them somewhat atleast favor putting premades vs premades and pugs vs pugs. I’m not for big overarching changes but its 2020 and some adjustments (as blizz calls them lol) might need to be made.
I’m assuming there is an easy work around?

oh…I have not idea about that I was able to do it even when I had 0 post so
Since I’ve been seeing this question quite a bit on here, here’s the method of figuring it out.Go into your profile page, remove anything after your name-realm…Finding your profile
There is several ways to find it. Click on your avatar in the upper right corner and then click on your character name. https://i.imgur.com/AozXojL.jpg Left-click on your name on any post, click on “view activity”.
Funny i can add their own links lol
yeah I dont care enough to figure out my “trust level”…It means nothing to me.
Oh, I’m just linking it to explain why you can post links and I cannot. You spend a lot more time on here. You are “trusted”.
If you didn’t lead the ranking grind from the moment phase 2 launched, then PvP ranking is done for you.
I was rank 2 when BGs came out and I finished my pvp grind, so… I dont agree with this sentiment.
