I think the Social Contract has its good purpose but I can see how people will still try to get away with trying to be toxic when it comes to running dungeons and how they’ll find a way to instigate people. I have been dealing with lots of toxicity from a lot of players that no where in my remote sense to call me nasty things like that.
I just hope one day Blizzard will find a way to make the game more accessible for all the player base so that we can all have fun in some way. It might be asking for a lot but I just think for example Shadowlands has a lot of stuff that makes it hard to play and therefore makes people rage at other people. I personally hope that there will be some type of adjustment as it is a game I love.
EDITED: I hope it’s more clear and I’m sorry for earlier original post.

Well, hate to break it for you, but your “opinions” will not be heard here by the right people. The devs and people in charge don’t come here to the CS forums for player feedback. Your concerns would be better served posting on General Discussion.

I honestly don’t know of any game that works for everyones ability.
But if you wish to provide constructive feedback, you need to get specific. What EXACTLY do you wish to see changed?
Catering for everyone when it comes to design will always be impossible.

If you have a specific suggestion that you think would accomplish this, you’ll want to use the in-game suggestion feature or post in one of the non-support related forums. But just saying “find a way to make the game more accessible…” isn’t clear enough.
Now, if people are messaging you with inappropriate language, insults or the like, then right-click and report them. There’s no point in arguing or taking the low-road with them.
My mom always said “Never argue with an idiot. They’ll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.”

Just pointing out here…you do realize you’re in breach of the contract and CoC by your name alone? Just to save you some trouble, you may want to self-report it before it’s reported against you. Masked language is still language that is against the rules. I missed whatever your original post was, but judging by the snippet that Nephe posted - whether purposeful spelling or fumbled misspelling, language is going to bite you in the butt, and repeated brushes with reports and sanctions will only get worse as time goes on.

If you’re referring to Accessibility in terms of users with differing abilities - such as Hard of Hearing, or Colorblindness - and you’d like to provide suggestions/feedback on those topics specifically then check out this article:
To be clear, everyone is already expected to follow the In-game Code of Conduct in Blizzard games. The Social Contract you’re referring to is simply an in-game presentation and a reminder of the existing rules and recommnedations for player behavior.
NEW SOCIAL CONTRACT
When players first log in to World of Warcraft after the 9.2.5 content update goes live, they will be greeted by the new Social Contract. This contract will need to be read and accepted before a player can continue into the world of Azeroth. The contract outlines behavior that will help make your experiences more positive and provides an outline of behaviors that are not acceptable within the game. While you should only need to accept it once, there may be a future point where you’ll need to reaccept the contract to continue playing.
If you encounter players who are being inappropriate or harassing you right now, then please do report them using the in-game tools provided.
There are improvements coming in 9.2.5, but that doesn’t mean you can’t report harassment right now. Thanks for helping keep the game a friendly place to explore and play.

Thank you for putting this in Blue! There have been some doomsayers acting like following the rules they already had is going to be egregious. Even pulling up the 2004 rules which cover the same things does not seem to convince them.

Its not just " a reminder of the existing rules". It’s vague in some places.

Unfortunately, it will always be vague in some places. People like to armchair lawyer their way through anything and everything. The player base and what they can come up with is fluid and ever-changing. Their rules have to be equally as fluid to keep up with folks.

You call it fluid, I call it vague. shrug

It’s vague for a reason. If players keep attempting to bypass the rules creatively, then Blizzard can use the vague rules to bypass the players attempt to bypass the rules.
Its vague so they can protect themselves more easily.
I would say that the text of the Social Contract is more explicit than our overall In-Game Code of Conduct.
We recognize that the Internet is not always a safe haven. With that in mind, please note that the following behaviors are not accepted in Azeroth:
- Hate speech, including negative comments that target another player’s identity, including aspects like race, gender, or ability
- Harassment, threats, or abusive / derogatory language and behaviors
- Spamming, advertising, or other disruptive behaviors
- If you harm your fellow adventurers with any of the above behaviors, you are subject to punishment up to and including suspension of your account.
I don’t really agree that this is vague. To me it pretty clearly outlines behaviors that are considered unacceptable. But if you have feedback regarding this, you can provide it through the in-game feedback form which is a directed to the game teams.
- Using the in-game “Submit Feedback” option that is found on the Support menu.
- Press the Esc key to open the Game Menu, and click Support.
- Click Submit feedback or bug report.
- Click Submit a suggestion.
- Follow the guidelines on the submission form, and enter your suggestion.
- Click Submit.
I don’t believe this topic needs to become another argument as these discussions have tended towards, so I’m going to close it now.
