No you’re not. You didn’t mention that once in your OP. You’re pissed off about wanting MORE ILVL.
This is so stupid. You want to pretend because you pay $15 a month for a game that you clearly don’t like that you should somehow get exactly what you want designed into the game. Like bruh. Try buying Elden Ring and then demanding Fromsoftware put cars and spaceships in the game bECauSe YoU PAiD fOR tHE GAmE.
I mean, in SL they released over 180 non rating/rading exclusive mounts out of 197. So…get over it? lmao
No, I’m pissed that you’re so intellectually dishonest and are actually incapable of reading your own damn words.
I’ve got nothing for the life support aspect of the rant, but the evidence that the game is being tilted to the 1% is pretty prevalent. Simply referring to patches as “Seasons” is revealing enough (and fairly gross in an MMORPG). No need to even try to push some conversation angle regarding PvP on the matter, we all know they aren’t referring to it.
M+ is popular, but M+ focus is overshadowing other modes of play. Personally, I don’t give a damn about open world iLvL ‘rewards’. I want open world content to be fun, and to matter. I want my crafting to be fun, and to matter…and even IT is being unfairly angled toward M+. This trend needs to be nipped in the damned bud.
BFA was better feeling in world content, including world quests. Legion too. SL I didn’t even want to do World quests because they made both the World Quests worse to do and take longer, but they made it so you have to travel to even pick up ‘callings’ and go back and forth needlessly. Also didn’t help that trying to grind for ‘world content BiS’ was a marathon that you had to keep trying to chip away at including ‘upgrading’ your gear at certain NPCs and so forth.
I didn’t dodge you, my sources are very easy to look up given WCL, RIO and other websites track such metrics. The fact that you don’t know about them tells me a lot about you as a player. <3
Uno reverse.
Why yes, I do play games. We are on a gaming forum after all.
and both BFA and SL have had worse expansions, yes.
You made it about you, actually.
You do the bare minimum when you raid, Yes. People doing world content put in more time and effort than you do for their gear.
I mean originally the nomenclature within the community was that patches were called “tiers” in regards to PvE and “seasons” for PvP.
It’s only as raiding became less prevalent (and Blizzard phased out tier sets for almost two expansions), it made less sense to refer to them as tier and people just referred to them as seasons instead.
They can have it. I.m done with retail and thankfully the 50 dollar paywall will keep me away. It’s not worth it to pay when you know the game is not for you. Maybe when it’s on sale for 19.99 I suspect around Christmas time (bomb games usually do that).
So you agree, people doing world CONTENT should be getting the same gear as yourself (minimum) given you put in less effort than they do.
Mostly, it’s people like you that are upset you wouldn’t be able to buy your way to BiS if it was world content or solo challenge content. <3
Considering how much time you spend on the forums, I doubt it’s an actual ‘job’ but more of the ones where you’re able to do whatever you want most of the time (Post on the forums and play games) and work about 5-10% of the time.
As a “casual”/“solo” player, I think the “1%” should have content, too. What I don’t like is when I want something (like Player Housing, Classic WoW, having Chromie Time actually revert back to pre-Cata old world, etc.), they tell me I “can’t have it” because they want more of what they want. I would never say that to them, so IDK why they say it to me
EDIT: I patiently waited for Classic (which still “didn’t take away time” for what the “1%” wanted, so IDK why that’s still even an argument, at this point ), so I can wait for Player Housing & pre-Cata old world through Chromie Time. It seems like the “1%” aren’t all that patient, so I guess that’s why they get what they want first
Doomsayers say this about every expansion. I fall into this category and have no issues. Then again, I do enjoy M+ which requires minimal uninterrupted play time to happily progress on.
You should just rephrase this into, “If you dislike pvp, raiding, or M+… you’ll have nothing to do!” which is still debatable but at least more accurate because there are plenty of people who dislike all 3 end-game options and are still around =/
I think that this game’s main audience is no longer the casual player base, sad to say. They shifted most of the game’s focus to be geared toward those who will stick around no matter what, and that is usually the more hardcore portion of the player base. Everyone else is labeled as “cyclical” even though a lot of them probably wouldn’t be if they were thrown a bone more often.
Lucky for me you are actually wrong. While I do have some downtime its because of the fact that I finished the job under an hour and my company bills by the hour.
The fact that your only argument is to try and discredit my job shows you dont have any actual argument because I dont work from home or in an office so no computer.
Ironic, you still haven’t sourced anything from your posts!
I already get BiS from M+ and raiding myself, but thanks! At least my parses are not grey like you and Snoz who try to gatekeep everyone else because ‘gear’ makes you feel so special!
The game has always prioritized endgame raiding/mplus/arena/rbg. This isnt anything new.
I am not. You either didnt play older expansions or have rose tinted glasses because the game used to be raid or nothing. Now its much more alt and solo player friendly.
They’re so good you post on a troll alt! Whatever dumbass. Enjoy your LFR gear for doing world quests in DF. I’ll be hanging out with my BiS for actually playing the game.
