I mean, if you’re anything below 50, means you’re below average. You can get 60-70 just being alive the entire fight and doing your rotation semi-correctly. Being green/gray parse means you’re an actual handicap on your raid, which I’d think people would find to be a rather rude thing to be on a remake of a 20 year game that’s been solved and would mean you’d be wasting the time and efforts of anywhere from 9 to 39 other people.
But maybe that’s just me, to think that my time and other’s is worth respecting

naw, a ton of high end players would love to gdkp on alts to fund their main, like majority of us did the first time around or in TBC/wrath

Classic is fun clearing a raid with the lads and having a good time doing it. The time to spend 4 hours progging one boss was 20 years ago. I’m not interested in spending a raid night on bosses I killed when they originally released.
My attitude doesn’t ruin the game for other people, because I don’t group with people with an incompatible attitude. Because that’s how you get drama.
If anything, your attitude actually ruins the game for other people when you pug and have to be carried.

Obviously, some most likely did, but i have no idea to know if everyone did, if anything these guild never had their own GDKP. And one is from SoD where GDKP has been banned for a while anyway.

Because, like others have said, me and many others enjoyed running GDKP on alts, to have a purpose for them, as the most fun way to farm golds. Running SR and HR on alts is absolutely painful and you’ll most likely end up with a longer and messy run.
I don’t think anyone is “mad” about the ban, just think it’s dumb how they cater to people with a change that doesn’t do anything. RMT and bots still rampant on SoD. You gonna hold out hope that surely this time they’ll do something about swipers and bots? Because they won’t. So all the GDKP ban accomplishes is people who prefer GDKP raids don’t get to do them.
That said, if you wanna know what I’m actually mad about? That the timeline makes it look like it’s only 1 year from mc to naxx for this fresh, that’s the height of stupidity. That alone makes me completely uninterested. 3 month raid tiers without increased loot is gonna fail so hard.
My thoughts are the people that are happy about it would be playing regardless. Its kind of like being in a mini van and mad someone is in a corvette saying its not allowed to be on the same road because its a better car and it isn’t fair to drive something different than them. Meanwhile all the people that like playing alts and gdkps will just be playing another version of the game or another game entirely.
I know numerous people that aren’t playing for the simple fact of the gdkp ban. None of which buy gold.
Oh trust me, a ton of people are BIG mad about the ban. Like, huge mad.
You could just sell carries straight out in the Services channel or something, if you’re top-tier players like you think you are.
The problem here is that you think GDKPs are a corvette, when they’re actually just a Go-Kart made of somebody’s mom’s credit cards.

You say that. But I earned and spent 3 million gold through wrath alone and geared every single class pretty much every tier and got my shadowmourne with the gold that I earned. Can you say the same? I don’t think you can. And i’m getting daggers from my guild and i’m going to be buying the staff with the gold I earned in cataclysm. Again…can you say the same?
