So what’s with classes being ignored on alpha?

Yes. Thats called “working on a few at a time”.

Thats how it works. Thats how it has worked in WoW since launch. This reads more like “I cant believe they didnt work on my spec first”.

Mid expansion is not the time for massive class changes.

Yes it is. Why wouldn’t it be if the class is broken? Maybe don’t release a class completely broken for an excpansion which my changes would help? I remember your name though, and I’m just gonna take a particular action to ensure I don’t have to in the future.

Monk will get some changes in 10.0! Its okay! Maybe 1 day MW will actually do good healing in raids and not be overshadowed by Holy priest / Resto druid every tier. While in the meantime, Hpally, Disc priest, Rshaman will continue to overshadow Hpriest/Rdruid/MW for the foreseeable future.

RIP
MW monk overshadowed twice. :weary: Tis life of a monk.

To be fair, shaman dps specs needed some changes and they got it. Good for them.

Ahh yes working on a few at a time, just like how all of the well-respected Shadow Priests begged Blizzard for some changes during BFA testing because the spec felt giga-bad without the artifact, yet they did nothing? Okay got it! :slightly_smiling_face:

Also if you read what I said, you’d know I play a class that has been worked on, yet you still insult me saying I’m complaining my class wasn’t addressed first? Makes sense.

lol it’s funny because whoever you’re replying to I already have on ignore. Should tell you what kind of trash they are if you’ve run into issues with them too.

Oh i agree that classes should have more time worked on in between expansions. But that doesn’t mean major changes should happen mid expansion.

The action of a person that strongly dislikes people disagreeing with them, and only wants an echo chamber. I feel I have been pretty cordial. But if you feel that someone having the audacity to disagree with you makes you want to ignore them, that speaks volumes about you.

So what is your solution? Hire 50 more devs to work on every class at once, and fire them all in 2 months?

This fully supports my statement I made earlier.

My solution would be for Blizzard to release a statement saying that they are looking at the specs that are having issues, and the player feedback and we should expect some changes soon.

You realize complaining about specific changes is not the same as complaining about no feedback right?

Well at least I know which trashcan was spitting out trash now. Can’t say I care to see what he’s puking up today.

Haven’t been on these forums for a long time, but this person seems like a brain dead boot-licker that is condescending and rude to anyone that has anything negative to say about the state of anything regarding this game, regardless if it’s actual constructive criticism or not.

They have outlined initial changes for just about all specs, no? The tends to imply they are looking at all specs. They have asked for feedback on all specs.

I am sorry you feel I am being rude, it is not my intent. But seeing how you don’t like rudeness the petty name calling seems a bit weird.

That’s about the best description I could imagine tbh. Well done. Definitely better off blocking.

And they haven’t said anything in regards to the FEEDBACK they are receiving, why do you keep missing this?

Do you understand how far a simple “thanks for the suggestion, we are working on other classes right now but we will get to it” goes? You just keep glossing over my main talking point over and over again without actually responding to it.

You arnt being rude at all (atleast from what I read from you) just ignore them and let them echo.

They have not said “thanks” to every single bit of feedback, for every single spec. You are correct.

I didn’t know saying “thanks” would have fixed all of your issues.

They are clearly working on a few at a time, and I expect them to incorporate more feedback for more specs as time goes on.

Still being condescending and completely missing the point. I’ll say it one more time and then I’m done with this pointless back and forth.

As someone who used to main Shadow Priest I’m keeping up to date with Blizzard changes to Shadow Priest during alpha. A very well respected Shadow Priest who is in Alpha made a huge collaboration post in April about all of the things that they wanted to be addressed by Blizzard, and Blizzard not only had made 0 changes to that class in the last 3 months, they also have not given any updates on it either.

So much as a “We are still looking and working on the spec” or a “We have this design goal in mind with Shadow” goes a long way to people who spend HOURS testing on the Alpha in order to give constructive and worthwhile feedback. Yet it has been ignored for almost 3 months now.

The SAME EXACT thing happened in BFA testing. A group of Shadow Priests gave Blizzard a list of issues the class has without the artifact traits, and Blizzard addressed NONE of those points and didn’t even respond to the feedback.

That is the point I’m making. Certain people are nervous and annoyed about the future of their class/spec because Blizzard has not responded AT ALL to the various constructive posts given by Alpha testers that are playing said class. That is why people are upset. If you can’t see that I have no idea what to tell you.

It took until BC for the original Shadow Priest to become viable and until Wrath for Ret to become viable. If you said “it’s just an alpha bro” at them in vanilla, you’d be telling them to wait YEARS.

We need the MoP model back where a large chunk of the specs become good at the same time.

Not sure why you’re making this comment as a shaman. You do know your class was incomplete for BfA’s launch right? They are doing the exact same thing now but to different classes (and twice for priests) This isn’t a case of taking feedback one class at a time. This is negligence.
