Well, good thing is if she has restructuring the Kirin Tor from ashes on her plate it likely was done to give her a reason to go AWOL for awhile, likely through Midnight at least before returning in TLT. I kind of suspect most the crew we have for Midnight sans Alleria will not be in Midnight.

Letās break it down, despite thrall being one of the headline people shown to us in the marketing lead up to TWW and Jaina being completely absent from any of the marketing, Jaina had equal presense to thrall and with the Dalaran quest chain in this newest patch she arguably has more.
Jaina appearing is an ever present threat and should be treated as such.

Metzen seemed pretty aware of how much oxygen big names suck out of a space, so yeah I do think she likely wonāt be much of a face in the Elf Expac.

Horde and Allaince are not even mentioned during this one time, its over. Are these forums really just not capable of accepting the storyās new narrative?
So much else has happened besides the faction conflict, there really no reason to hyper-focus on something Blizzard has pretty much closed. And its not even like most people even enjoyed it when it was relevant.
That is why I specifically said aunt in there. She hot, smoking hot and she purged blood elves, which made her hotter.

Iām unwilling. Faction conflict is the basis of the MMOās setting. Idc if blizzard currently intends for it to be gone forever, theyāre wrong. It needs to make a come back because the factions are what people anchor themselves to playing WoW and the Horde doesnāt work without faction conflict.
Blizzard will just need to have the bare minimum discipline required to not have quests where the players commit genocide and other decidedly non-heroic warcrimes.
If Blizzard actually commited to making her a psycopath, Iād agree that it would make her hot. But they donāt. Sheās just a keanu chungus wholesome woman who did some bad things when she was hysterical.

Each their own. Factions is the last reason I played wow.
I played it because it was easier than EverQuest and more fun. Also warlocks were amazing.
Itās funny but all the classes I mained were mostly outlaw type classes that really are more independent from the factions. Rogues, warlocks, role played my warrior more as a merc.
When they are discussing how to rebuild the Kirin Tor, Jaina tells Khadgar that āthe Kirin Tor has a duty to protect the Alliance.ā
at this point it is what it is, and I donāt care, but the Alliance WAS mentioned in this questline, and the Horde was not.

Why is Jaina allowed to suddenly be one of the main leaders of the Kirin Tor remnants while still being the leader of an entire Alliance nation at the same time?

Think the whole point is that there will be no leader. She is just getting the ball rolling, with others, to start the new idea of the Kirin Tor because Khadgar is way too tired to do it right now.

Theyāre wrong.
WoW did just fine depicting high fantasy warfare for fifteen years before they decided in BFA that the Horde Players should take part in an actual on-screen genocide. Donāt play disingenuous and act like you donāt understand exactly what Iām saying.

Oh, I know what you are saying but Jaina is sitll loyal to the alliance so of course she will say āfor the allianceā just to correct herself afterwards. That is good writing to me, it shows that she is still struggling with the idea of Azeroth fully being one instead of broken into factions.

sounds like the new Kirin Tor is going to be a decentralized research kind of organization.
theyāre still going to be the Kirin Tor, they are just not going to consolidate the entirety of magical power on Azeroth to a single city that can be destroyed.

Bingo, kinda reminds me of star wars legends, Lukeās new jedi order. Very much different from the old republic jedi order. Same general core beliefs but how they go about it is different.
